Lots of nighttime traffic and in the first two minutes, several loud vehicles pass and you hear three loud reports of distant fireworks followed by distant barking. There's about three more minutes of traffic and then the noise dies down to neighborhood hum in the last 45 seconds.

Made with a jvc digital camcorder, it got some interesting sounds of frogs, coyotes howling in the distance and the reaction of a very nervous jackass. I recorded this from a balcony (5th floor) in the middle of a summer day (end of july), using a mid/side set (mkh30 + c480 b-uls/ck62-df omni) into sound devices mixpre3. Not any processing has been added, except a plain m/s to x/y stereo conversion and low-cut filter (30hz). This is a generally quiet atmo, sometimes light wind comes in, some seagulls and other birds are there at times, some construction work happens etc. The traffic noise is present, but in the distant way. Feel free to use it in any of your productions. Not for resale.
