A drum pattern in 11/8 time. Someone on freesound's forums requested some strange timings for drum patterns, so i programmed these for them. Decided to make an entire pack up.

I recorded a friend of mine making various noises and then used this one for my alien 3d model i made. I used a yeti mic to record, and audacity to edit.

We filled a glass bottle with water from the kitchen sink, then quickly turned the bottle upside-down. The water made a popping sound as it chugged out, making splashing sounds.

This is the sound a hurdy-gurdy makes when you pluck one of its drone strings - deep, sonorous and lush.

An old printer at work that was making a lot of noise, so i thought it would be cool to record it. I recorded the initial sound with an iphone5, reversed it with fl studio, and used the fruity convolver plugin to add the reverb.

Dont ask why this is named like that lol, made using a lot of layers but the fundamental of the snare is synthesized, distorted the first miliseconds of the sample to make an snappy transient and make it cut throught the mix. For the process i used analog modelled plugins such as exciters, tube saturators, preamps, coloring eqs, and compressors alongside with some digital modelled plugins such as camelcrusher, transient shaper and sliceeq both by kilohearts, the compressor mjucjr ny klanghelm to amplify the waveform of the sample and finally a clipshifter plugin, which i love it, to limit the snare aggresively.

Was up late last night and needed to make a foley for a radio tuning for a movie project thats coming up. So i thought i try and make my own. I just took my alarm clock radio and played with the am tuner and got some pleasing results. In the beginning it tunes in into various stations while coming towards the end its very errie with static and a wobbly tone. Feel free to use this for your own project. Actually made with distorting, bitcrushing, and downsampling a recording of an electric drill (with this type of heavy processing the source material doesn't really matter much though). No chips or tunes were harmed in the making of this sound.
