A little tune where uoki-toki polivoks vcf and intellijel μvcf are acting as vcos. I use one more sound source and that’s noise for the rhythmic sound. No sequencer. No midi. No keyboard. No over dub. Don’t know why i write this… it’s an nice experiment anyway.

Space vehicle chase with sirens in scifi city. Imposcar & keysalpha2 patches, layered. Glideeffect in impocar used for pitching. The keysalpha (police sirens in the distance) is pitch-modulated with a fast lfo, and you'll find a fat chorus-effect there, an internal synth effect.

My plan was to make a simple krell patch with some added timbre on the voice. The patch got bigger, fm-modulation and feedback in different form was added.

The deep, low octave sound effect popularised by eric serra for the goldeneye film score. It is available on the e-mu proteus 2 fx synth module under the patch "infinite". Alternatively, you can make a similar sound by sampling a woodblock/tambourine/cowbell and then pitching it down heavily (with added reverb).

I made a saw wave and put some flanger and paulstretch effects to it on audacity and made this synth-like saw wave inspired by the saw wave sample from the ps1 startup sound. This is some small patterns i made and mixed basic filters time pitch all accross and finally put some bells with a very very short programmed arpeggiator. You will not hear the arpeggiator over all the other effects ;).

A slight improvement on my inception-sound. Wav , created using lmms, again 2 instances of zynaddsubfx and now also 2 instances of sf2-player with a trumpet type sound. I also used lowpass filter.

Time to give something back here. Hope it's useful. Mix out of a soft synth kick punched up and up, by adding gated attack kick. Compressed and limited, maximal appereance of the kick by giving enough space for other instruments. Also can handle a subbass (+/- sidechaincomp) easily , because of the depth.
