A band tuning up at an outdoor event. There's the sound of generators that were used for the lighting.

This is my recording of a paper bag blowing up/inflating and it popped with a "bang!".

Came up with this sound while mucking about. I imagine it leading up to the protagonist discovering something horrible.

This is my recording of a coin picking up, flipping, catching and spinning.

I made this using two oscillators in native instrument's fm8 synth. There is nothing too fancy, just two sine waves played out the same output, but one has an offset of 440hz, and the second oscillator has an offset of 330hz. I then just played two notes that didn't sound too dissonant, and then ran it through some low-fi processing.

A ring of keys picked up and dropped repeatedly from a height of 6" or so into a tub of coins. Assorted metal-against-metal sounds when picked up, short metallic crashes when dropped. Some minor removal of background noise. Recorded with minidisc and condenser mic, close, indoors.

An elevator trip in old panel 9th floor ussr house. Wall-buttonpress: elevator call. Elevator arrives, doors opens, i walk in. Anelevator trip up from lowest floor to highest. Recorded with zoom h2,4-mics mode, then filtered a bit and mixed manually.

A recording of a computer connecting to the internet with a dial-up connection. I only edited it a little bit, just condensing it and removing background noise.

The name almost says it all. Some synth attuned a certain pitching way, with some amount and rate lfo speed up and down.

I waited every friday morning (which is trash day) to capture this sound. Recorded with a zoom h4n and a rode m5.

A simple but effective white noise sweep up created using a white noise signal, using automation to change a simple filter and colour to the sound to create a sweep effect.
