Winter winds gust through a city park along with occasional bird song and leaf rustle. Recorded with an ortf setup neumann km184 pair and a sound devices mixpre-6 iirecorded in 48khz 24bit wave.

Surrounded by tall trees the wind was quite strong and audible.

Recorded in ny at 7:24 pm with a sound devices mix pre-3 and an audio-technica bp4025 microphone (with a rode blimp windshield). Wind, light snow, tree branches, and occasional windchimes.

A stark soundscape of the icy wind swooshing through dry oak leaves on the edge of a midwestern lake. Plus, as an added bonus, from out of nowhere two fast-moving canada geese come storming through at only about 25 feet from where i was standing!. I was very lucky because they are so close that at some point during this recording, you can actually hear the sound of the wind being pummeled by the beating of the geese's very large, strong wings. Equipment: sound devices mixpre-6 and sennheiser mkh 416 inside a blimp. Recorded on monday december 28 2020 around 1:30 in the afternoon. Outside temp was 37 degrees and the wind was blowing steady at 10 to 15 miles an hour.

I don't know what kind this was, but several red-headed woodpeckers appear at my feeder. I got just one series without background traffic noise. If you want to repeat it for effect, each series came 46 seconds apart. Probably how long it took him to eat the bugs he turned up.

Citroen xantia car winter start engine.

Stronger version of wind in winter. Might go nicely with smatterings of rain.

Recorded with a zoom h1 n. This is similar to rain-on-veranda-roof-and-window-glass. Wav except instead of recording on the window sill, the device is hand-held aloft in the middle of the veranda and closer to the ceiling. The rain on roof sound is louder and less rain can be heard striking the glass windows. It's a typical intense winter rain storm with wind gusts and driving rain in the month of january on vancouver island.

Since snow has been so widespread, thought it would be a good time to stockpile the beautiful crunchy, crisp sound of walking on it. This was recorded the evening of february 15, 2021 using my marantz pmd661 audio recorder and the bulletproof, dynamic beyerdynamic me58 microphone. The temperature was 2 degrees farenheit.

120 bpm adjusted, 12 seconds seamless loopable: stereo (large diaphragm condenser (scm900) and dynamic (sm58) with slight phase adjustment. Tempo embedded with file from presonus studio one.
