Recording from a garden in the new forest, hampshire, uk in january. I happened to put the recorder right next to where a bird (blackbird i think) decided to perch and start singing, so the song is really loud in places. All sorts of background people noise like diy, chainsaw, voices, etc. Zoom h5, internal xy capsules.

This is a recording of children playing in the large playground at the luxembourg gardens in paris, france. The recording was made from the east side of the playground, next to an attraction that allows kids to hang from a sort of harness and slide down a rail. The metallic clink you hear periodically is the sound of the runners on this gadget banging into each other as kids jump off of them. I took a field recording on my back yard in a summer day. You can hear kids playing and laughing in the background. You can also hear birds, leaves moved by wind, a plane passing by and some cars in the far end. Recorded with zoom h4 sound recorder and senhheiser k6 me65 microphone.
