Recorded up in the b. C. (canadian) mountains in spring, sterling st77 mic, one long recording was divided into two, to create stereo. Recorded into twisted wave on a mbpro laptop.

Heavily processed sounds form the symbiotic waves module by pittsburgh modular. Filtered through the intellijel atlantis filter. Effects were minifooger chorus and occasionally strymon delay or flint. The name give a hint which oscillator model and processor were used.

Approx. 0650hrs, early march 2021. Put my recorder in the open bathroom window. I had to have the gain up higher than i wanted as the sparrows are down in the side garden about 30 yards away. The crow sounds closer, perhaps on our neighbour's roof. Collared doves also cooing but faint. The sound of our boiler is in the background.

Sound created from using the rings of saturn as a spectral source to a series of filters. When a 1 pixel high image of the rings is extracted it looks like a spectrogram (original: https://en. Wikipedia. Org/wiki/file:saturn%27s_rings_dark_side_mosaic. Jpg). The ring spectrogram was divided into three color planes, and the color intensity values were transformed into resonant filter cutoff frequencies. In essence one filter unit (per color plane) has 256 sounds playing simultaneously. The individual filters are placed along the x-axis so, that the stereo image consists of 256 steps from left to right. In this sound of the series the spectrum was compressed to a range of 20 - 1000 hz. A small variation in certain divider factor per color plane is introduced for a slight chorus like effect.

Dawn chorus recorded just before sunrise on a freezing cold april morning in the hampshire countryside, far away from any main roads. The only human noise is a couple of distant aircraft. Sd mixpre3 and rode svmx. 40hz low cut.

The first sunday of may is the international dawn chorus day! on the 3rd of may 2020, artists and field recordists in different parts of the world recorded the birdsong around the time of the local sunrise, and then the sounds were put together in a synchronous collage. The sounds you hear in the recording at the same time happened at the same time, but not necessarily in the same place: for example, you can hear owls calling in the spanish night at almost the same time as kookaburras in the australian day. There's two male ghosts, one of them more loud and more low pitched than second. They sing along some song without words and screams, they're just wail and howl. Ideally can be placed in any place related somehow to ghosts(abandoned home, castle, graveyard) in some suspense moments or as constant sound on background(though, i should notice, that the sound isn't seamless). I recorded it with my own voice, audacity's delay effect on every of two tracks(every track has one voice - logically).

I composed a fairly long midi loop of chord progressions & let each section repeat twice. Then i layered a bunch of return tracks of the same line with arpegiated outputs played with straight, quarter note swing eight note swing, 16th note swing, & 32nd note swing all played together. The output was then compressed, heavily chorused through multiple fx devices, and stereo panned into the nonsense you hear.
