I'm not really sure what i was going for, but it turned out to be this. I'd describe it as aliens trying to communicate with humans through radio or something. Original sound was me kicking snow off of a small bush. Recorded on my iphone8. Edited in audition.
Created in virtual ans synth using visuals to draw sounds. Still learning and this is just messing around a little :). Re-uploaded at half volume(using audacity), by the recommendation of a comment.
This is the first sound in a new pack of sounds where i shall use a virtual ans for the audio, i got the idea from pschrandt's sounds (check him out at https://freesound. Org/people/pschrandt/). With this one, i was just playing around a bit with the spectrogram brush.
This is an alien scream effect i made by taking my scream i recorded earlier and reversing it adding a "wha wha" effect in audacity and then i copied that, placed it after the first, and reversed it again.
Patch on a large modular analog synth, mainly doepfer but with some sputnik and intellijel modules. Sounds very arp 2600-ish, a soundcape reminiscent of birdsong and tweets. Mainly tuned filters seeded with pink noise.
