It's a raw nearly minute-long recording of an electric fan running. Sounds similiar to a little aeroplane motor mid-air. Recorded using a zoom h2. Originally 96khz/24-bit wav. Converted to flac using audacity.
There was a big storm in my city and i opened the windows to feel the draught. I nearly closed my door. I left a little bit space only and i recorded the sound of this little space:).
I honestly don't know what to call this effect because i had no idea what is it called. This was a bit similar to that hallelujah effect though. Feel free to use it. Created in 3ml editor and edited it in audacity.

I took a gunshot, put a little bit of flanger on it and then rolled off the highs of an explosion and layered that underneath. I also added a few other effects to give it that fluttery sound in the end.

In the city of aarhus, denmark, very early morning the empty train station gave me the chance to record the diesel engine of the regional train's locomotiverecorded with tascam dr-10048000 hz stereo, 16-bit wave pcm uncompressed.
This sound consists of sine waves only playing the musical note c, each for a total of 10 seconds. Rendered as a 200/32 wav file (linear pcm, 32 bit little-endian floating point, 200000 hz) in audacity.

It's co2-saturated water being jettisoned out of a bottle into a glass. Captured with zoom h2 to 96khz / 24-bit pcm, cleaned up in audacity using denoise, editing and spectral delete and encoded to flac. Enjoy!.
Here are some recordings of some of my basic woodwork tools. I'll try and get better recordings in the future but i share a workshop and it is rarely quiet enough to get good recordings. All recordings are me working on a piece of 25mm thick walnut timber. Listening back has made me realise that all of these tools need sharpening!! :). The recordings are as follows:. 00:00 - 00:26stanley block plane fine shaving the edge of the timber. 00:28 - 01:33stanley 5m retractable tape measure, metal blade and plastic casing. Tape being wound out and drawn back in. 01:36 - 03:30milwaukee m12 battery drill. Trigger being pressed, chuck opening and closing and bits being changed. Drilling into timber. Driving screws into the timber and removing them again. 03:32 - 05:14lie nielsen crosscut tenon saw cutting across the grain of the timber. 05:17 - endgeneral purpose wood saw 'ripping' along the grain of the timber. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. Recorded on 20. 05. 2020 on schneealpe in styria, austria. Its funny - and a bit scary - that one can see the exact crevice the recording took place from a satellite. There was a bit of snow left from winter but rapidly melting. Drops fall from 30 cm to the rock below in different rhythms. Recorded with 2 km184 ab ~40cm apart into sounddevices 744. Unfortunately i had no proper windscreen and so there is quite some rumble up to 120hz. The rumble can be filtered out easily, but i left the recording as is (i normalized and converted from 96k to 48k in audacity).
A bit i made in garageband for something called victors crypt. I think this can be suited for something a bit sci-fi with a creepy touch. These are taken from my modded behringer bg412s from 2004. I know this is one of the most hated cabs in the world but i gave it 2 celestion vintage 30s. The top speakers are in an angle to the outside. . . So you get something different. It really is a awesome heavy plywood cab. . . No chipwood crap. The irs are mix ready and should deliver a brutal sound. Even: mix ready universal full sound sm57balls: a bit more whoosh sm57brutal: a bit more scooped sm57bruzl: evil black metal shred pyle pdmic75. Have fun!.
It's a part of my pack "sickness". Sounds i recorded while being sick. I got a virus infection resulting in elevated body temperature, lack of strength, cough, running nose and sneezing. Check the title for what is in this particular recording. Recorded with zoom h2 on a mic-stand @ 96khz/24-bit. All the sounds in this pack are raw (unprocessed) they were truncated and converted to flac (both using audacity) but not normalized, with original 24-bit precision - turn them up as you need, denoise if you have to, cut out what you want. A 16 bar drum loop made in ableton with no samples rendered at 44100khz and a bit depth of 24 with triangular dithering. The drum loop runs at 140 bpm and the buzz on the bass/kick drum isn't audible when layered with a track.
A train starting it's engine at scarborough station. (see train leaves station. Wav) for the other half of this sound. I didn't see the point in including the middle bit, as it sat there for about ten minutes making the same sound. - recorded with my zoom h2 -.
The sound is so special with three meters long nylon whip when i heard it from distance and moved close about 15 meters with 48hz and 16bit recorded to share with you.
