Electronic beats made from an original sample pack designed using the drum synth on ni maschine. This is a full acoustic drumkit sampled at multiple velocities with drum sticks and brushes, it was recorded in a small jazz bar at a local music school, i recorded this a long time ago with a zoom h1 portable recorder. It would still need some sorting and tweaking to build a soundfont or hydrogen drumkit which i want to do in the future but it will probably not be anytime soon.

A#2 glockenspiel note in mono, recorded using an akg c3000b and straight into my 'puter. Part of a set. The glockenspiel is a 3 octave educational type, not abig orchestral one, so the octave numbers supplied are actually about 4octaves lower than true!.

An 8mm film projector being turned on. The projector then runs for over a minute, with some changes in pitch as the reel grows smaller. The reel then reaches the end and is pulled through the projector before the projector is turned off.

All the sounds are my voice being effected/looped by the pedals. The beginning part is a cough with another vocal sound layered which sounds similar to a violin. . . Recorded direct to sound card.

Oscillating female voice, made in fruityloops.

This sample was created by layering short, improvised passages on a yamaha psr-275 into a boss dd-20 in sound on sound mode. Loop was played into a boss me-30 on harmonizer and pitch shifter settings, processed in real time, then faded out. Audio was further processed in goldwave (compression, added hiss, vibrato, etc. ) to give it a more believeable "old vhs tape" sound. I cut it to only include the most convincing segment of audio. (it's not perfect, but it's only an emulation!) 24 kbps, stereo.
