One set of footsteps, wearing dress shoes (loud heel, but not necessarily high heel) in a quiet corridor. No external noise, low room tone. Also starts and stops. Good for adding reverb for an echoey feel.

At the heart of campus there is a old archway leading to an open field. Walking through the archway, your footsteps echo and the world becomes condensed into one tiny space; if only for just a moment.

I recorded this one night in an empty hallway on campus with a tascam dr-05 for an assignment, literally the steps are my own and the tascam was down at my feet while i walked.

Things may be closed but tennis courts still work, and she was dressed for it. The hallway we walked through after, was empty. A lot of them are lately, we used this one.
