This is the sound of a jacket zipper going up and down at various speeds. While it is from a jacket, it does sound also like the zipper from a tent as well. This was recorded with an akg c-214 condenser microphone in my home studio.

The sound of rain falling interspersed with rumbles of thunder at varying volumes. A lovely, rich recording. The audio is raw, so you'll need to amplify it to suit your needs. This was recorded in-person with a tascam dr-40 stereo recorder and a faux-fur wind guard due to occasional breezes. Public domain: i have released this audio file into the public domain. Lightning strike very close to our house - within 1/3 mile. The neighbors were out watching and you can hear their reaction. Recorded with sony pcm-m10 internal mics, sitting on porch roof. No editing other than fade-out.

Zipping open and closed at various speeds. Recorded with a rigid tripod bag, with the intended purpose of voicing a tent being zipped up and down. Raw audio, unprocessed.

Recorded using a zoom r 16 and a shure sm 81 mic, the only problem with the sample is me saying baap re(which means o my god) at the end, which fortunately can be edited out, the sample can also pass as a gunshot :).

The thunder from a single bolt of lightning, recorded in johor bahru, malaysia mid-afternoon october 2022. It hadn't yet started raining when i recorded this. The recording device was the inbuilt stereo microphones of the zoom h5.

Recorded in ny at 4:20 pm with a sound devices mix pre-3 and an audio-technica bp4025 microphone (with a rode blimp windshield). One hour and 14 minutes of rain, howling thunder, and an occasional bird. The file was edited and lengthened using goldwave and audacity.

Regular and continuous rumbling thunder. I stood at my back door and recorded the storm as it rolled by. No huge thunderclaps or lightning strikes, but a steady stream of flashes and rumbling that followed. If you need a prolonged active storm backdrop, this is it. Recorded on a tascam dr-40.
