Sound of roofers stapling new roof shingles on a building a few hundred yards away. The stapling noise includes some slapback and natural reverberation due to the distance.
Walking through the streets of central gothenburg to record urban sounds, i happen across a construction site. I walk past it and onwards to record footsteps on the pavement and eventually some light traffic and trams. Recorded with iaudio x5 internal mic.

Time to give something back. Drilling right in front of my house. Because internet cable was broken. Used the opportunity to mic it up. Recording made from inside. Drilling is about 5m away with a wall in between. You can hear my son about halfway through way in the background. But thought i wouldn't cut up the sample. Various pieces of landscaping (large earth-moving) equipment on a multi-acre site being developed for condominiums and a mall. Beeps from distant machinery such as a roller as well as closer passes by a dumptruck and two spreaders pulled by john deere tractors. Morning background sound of birds as well.
A pneumatic air tool (jackhammer) was used to lower some concrete blocks on the exterior of our garage. I was inside the house recording it with a zoom h2 recorder. So this was recorded through an insulated wall. This is the longer recording.
