Sound created using the wooden rod inside of my coat closet, and recorded on a zoom h2 recorder. This effect was used to create a sort of dungeon ambiance in a musical track. A decent down some steps, some creepy creaking, a little chain movement action, and it all seemed to fit ok. Check it out here: first trackhttps://brookinthebirchwood. Bandcamp. I also mixed in some am radio vocal snippets, resulting in a unique ambient piece that relaxes and unsettles simultaneously. -recorded entirely with tascam dr-03 at 48 k / 24 bit.

This is one of my favorite sounds to open my live sets with and is featured in my track water's bomb, as well as in the intro to the digital juggernauts album, "giant killer robots. " to make it, you use a sample of a plane flying over, i used a 707, and a djm-500's pitch shifter fx. As the sample gets longer, turn the pitch to the high end, then to the low end. Hope you all love and use this sound!.

A continuous blank record groove running almost 22 minutes in length. This is from the unused backside of a 1961 test pressing made for a commercial release on the mgm record label. Nothing is looped or enhanced in any way. The final 28 seconds of the file is the stylus riding in the lock groove near the label. For anyone curious about the vinyl source, a discogs page exists for it. Https://www. Discogs. Com/sam-the-man-taylor-sam-the-man-taylor-plays-hollywood/release/20174371.

Formatted for use in the make noise morphagene by todd barton. Sounds from "music and poetry of the kesh". "all samples have been remastered from the master 8-channel recording sessions of 1984. It has been fun and fascinating "remixing" them in the morphagene. " - todd. Music and poetry of the kesh is the documentation of an invented pacific coast peoples from a far distant time, and the soundtrack of famed science fiction author, ursula k. Le guin’s always coming home. In the novel, the story of stone telling, a young woman of the kesh, is woven within a larger anthropological folklore and fantasy. The ways of the kesh were originally presented in 1985 as a five hundred plus page book accompanied with illustrations of instruments and tools, maps, a glossary of terms, recipes, poems, an alphabet (le guin’s conlang, so she could write non-english lyrics), and with early editions, a cassette of “field recordings” and indigenous song. Le guin wanted to hear the people she’d imagined; she embarked on an elaborate process with her friend todd barton to invoke their spirit and tradition. Full album available here:. Https://ursulakleguintoddbarton. Bandcamp. Com/album/music-and-poetry-of-the-kesh. Todd has also released a remix of the reel on soundcloud. Post yours in the comments!. Https://soundcloud. An almost similar snare sound to that of idioteque in radiohead's 2000 album kid a. Though it is meant for experimental style, i think it would work with any form of electronic music. It was created by resonating noise from audacity, filtering it, fading it out, stretching it and compressing it. It has a characteristic sustain to it. Imagine it as a mix of a gunshot, cymbal, shaker and snare. Feel free to use it in any way you like. If you ever use it publicly or commercially, notify me so that i can hear how you used it.

Troopers Tribunal (1905), was a circus march written by Henry Fillmore in 1905. To conceal who it was written for from his conservative father and publisher, Fillmore intentionally misspelt "Troupers", as in, a circus troupe, as something that appeared, at first glance, to be military (according to the liner notes to Front & Center, a Collection of American Marches, U.S. Air Force Band). It is here performed by the US Air Force Band for their 1998 album Front & Center, a Collection of American Marches, conducted by Colonel Lowell E. Graham.

ElectricShockingKrautRockingMinimalMachine by Marco Kalnenek. Marco Kalnenek [*1969] is a musician from Heerlen, the Netherlands. Kalnenek started playing the piano at age 9. His first band Foolish Behaviour was formed around 1982, when he started jamming and recording tapes with assorted friends. Hundreds of hours of music and other noises were recorded in the 12 years that followed. A few cassettes and cd-r’s were privately released and various tracks turned up on compilations, most notably on Comfort Stand Recordings and blocSonic. In the meantime Kalnenek started his own label, WM Recordings, in 2004. After years of relative inactivity Marco Kalnenek’s first official EP “If Not For” finally appeared in May 2013.
