A piece of construction equipment moving earth. The vehicle runs on tracks, which you can hear along with the squeaky pulleys. Also the warning beeps as the machine backs up.

This sound is about coins falling inside vending-machine. Technical: we used zoom h4n for capture this sound and also we compression with noise reduction.
Vending machine- it was in a long hall way near offices, there was a vent blowing right next to it. The machine was also next to many offices and people were talking within the area. Was recorded on a h2 stereo digital recorder.
The sound of a squeaky floorboard in a friend's kitchen. Some background noise from a nearby refrigerator is also audible. Recording ends with my friend laughing and admonishing me for being a noise recording freak! ;).

The sound of a household microwave oven as it cooks. There is also the electronic beeping sounds of the oven buttons being pressed to initiate cooking, and then pressed again to stop.
This is me ripping a piece of paper, which resulted in a sharp, crisp sound of tearing. I think it could also very effectively be used to simulate the sound of a roll of packing tape being applied to a package.
Field recording on a tascam dr-05 of cockatoos screeching. A train goes past about half way and a dog bark towards the end. Some rumbling thunder can also be heard.
Red wing blackbird on pennsylvania farm - sat on top of game camera so the sound was clear - can also hear geese flying over and short chirps of blackbird.

This is the end of a heavy thunderstorm, at the beginning of the recording it is hearable the last thunder(unfortunatly). During the recording is possible to hear also some cars. The recording was made using a roland r05 mounted on a tripod facing to a hedge.
