I love the sound on a summer night in our backyard. I woke up at 2:00 am, to minimize street noise, and recorded this. The recording is made whilst bushwalking, so captures the footsteps etc. It was recorded with a 3dio binaural mic and a zoom f8 field recorder. The recording has been minimally edited and denoised with rx7 spectral de-noise.

This recording was taken from the balcony of an apartment in johor bahru malaysia on september 30th 2022 at about 1:30pm. It was monsoon season but not raining and the weather was hazy and muggy. The recording features the drone of a busy city punctuated by a whippersnipper, a building site, birds, a light aeroplane and car horns. At around the 4:30 mark there's two loud motorcycles that race each other and echo around the city in a most glorious way. The recording was made with the inbuilt stereo microphones of a zoom h5 portable recorder.
