I found this recording i made describing what an crocodile sounds like after visiting an alligator park in southern colorado. It struck me as particularly funny and i could imagine someone finding a random use for it. Enjoy, whoever you are.

Each accidental pattern was mined out of a much longer recording. I noticed these interesting sequences of noises while editing other samples over the years and threw them into a catch-all folder. All of these were recorded with a usb-stick mic so they have a nice lo-fi distorted quality. Try looping any of these patterns and you'll hopefully understand why i selected them.

Please excuse the naming convention. It is for a university project that i had to begin with my student number. This is an ambiance recording of crickets during the nigh-time outside.

A badger eating peanuts. I have no idea why anyone would want this! :) maybe you need authentic animal eating sounds? i live in a forest, and i leave peanuts out for the local badgers. They are very noisy eaters. I love freesound, so thought i'd upload the sound here.

Heard some cows across my street mooing at each other. They sounded sad and/or upset. Recorded on the zoom h4n. Edited in reaper to remove dead air/movement/excessive wind and eq'd some of the high frequency noise out.

All my sounds were created for an upcoming motioncomic i created called: madagascar: alex's story. . . I did not create these from scratch, but instead, remixed stock sounds of different roars, growls, breathing, etc. And fiddled with their settings until i got a sound i felt satisfied with. I thought the best thing to do with them after the project was done is to share. So, no need to give me credit. Friday april 26 2013 mid afternoon bygdøy island, norway. Ninja teases a squeaky gate waiting at the dock for the ferry back to oslo. Sunny and mild.

Killing the paper shredder with too many sheets. Then trying to get the paper out backwards and forwards. Etc.

A field-recording taken at a local animal park (germany). It was an early morning in spring and there were hardly any people there yet. The area, where we sat down, was surrounded by trees. Numerous birds were chirping and crows were cawing. A few farm animals like sheep can be heard in the recording at times as well as a one of the caretakers starting a vehicle in the distance.

A village foutain well nearby. Distant voices of children. A car drives by.

I recorded my small house dog being scared. She's always scared for whatever reason and decides to whine. It is a very interesting sound because it almost like she's growling. I recorded her using my rode ntg3 plugged into my h5. Cleaned a bit of ac noise using rx5. Please post a link if you use this file. I'm excited to see what you can do with this!.
