A quicky throaty bomb blast suitable for artillery or something.

For the play "censored on final approach" i needed the sound of artillery hitting an airplane, as heard by the pilot. I used a hammer and shovel between two closely parked cars in my grarage. Recorded using a zoom h2n.

Not very realistic, but it wasn't supposed to be it was for a children's play.

I wanted to make a sound effect for a game i'm developing, and so i recorded a 100-mm artillery cannon at camp williams (utah national guard), then modified the sounds using audacity. The recording was done on an olympus digital recorder in the mid-2000s (first decade). It sounded a little to me like the tribute cannon from hunger games (the sound effect that signals the deaths of the tributes), thus the name.

This is the first version of cannon. Wav. I tried to make a sort of explosion with my voice, and added a compressor, reverb and a little bit of distortion. Slow mo cannon. Wav was edited a bit more.

Distant machine gun fire, mortar bombardment, and rifle shots. Firefight erupted. Made this for a vr jam we went. Enjoy.

This is a recording i made with my h4n while on exercise at meaford training centre, with an artillery unit. It features 5 mortars firing multiple rounds. In the back ground, you can hear fire orders being issued over the radio, as well as individual detachment commanders giving orders to their gunners.

Explosion sound created using a zoom h1 and tempering with metal fibers near the mic capsules. Added verb and pop compression for better flexibility. A rough analog to an explosion, a work in progress, could be coupled with sounds of trash and debris to make the sound fuller. May fit as an artillery sound effect.

This sound was made with audacity by editing together a generated beep, with a sound made by repeating a knock on a piece of cardboard. Hope you like it! :).
