I walked through my neighborhood on july 4th, and many people were setting off fireworks outside their houses, so i recorded it. It was pretty chaotic. I walked through a park, which had a wet ground that you can hear me making my way through in some parts of this audio. Numerous fireworks go off, close and far, with crackles, sharper bangs, and more. You can also hear people yelling in the distance. Use this how you like, i do not need credit.

Tapping on various parts of an old brass fire extinguisher with the handle end of a stanley knife; then unscrewing the top, removing it, putting it back on and screwing it again. Recorded indoors onto minidisc with ecm-ds70p condenser mic at c. 1m range, unprocessed, some background noise.

Seven rounds from a lever-action marlin 1984c (cowboy rifle) in. 357 magnum. In most cases, the reports come rapidly on one another - this was necessary in order to eliminate background noise pollution. In one or two cases, there is a nice "decay" as the shot echoes into the distance.

The window in my studio has an exceptionally long tail of the spring vibrating. I could see this with some effect thrown on being very useful in music or fx situations. Recorded with a zoom h6, stereo xy attachment with internal compression.

A very brief combat zone background clip. It was made to be played very low in the background, just to support the foreground action of a short transitional scene. So there is not a lot of in-your-face action. Mostly a rolling rumble to represent distant off screen elements, and mid-distant small arms fire.

Since i have been lowing low on things to record i have been starting to record while i'm at school and it is working. The good thing is know one will know i am recording because i am using my audacity recorder on my laptop. I hope you enjoy my newest sounds.

With some room on the "explosion"this is not the whole recording. It is cutted after the "explosion". Look or tischbombe_3 if you will hear the things falling down as well.

To make these sounds, i hit my knuckles onto a thin sheet of metal on a bookshelf. The last sound on the recording was also made by dropping a coin onto the same spot on the shelf. If you use this in a project that gets released online or elsewhere, please comment and let me know about it! :).

I let off fireworks inside a silo. Unfortunately the best audio i got was from the gopro inside. A sound i thought i could hear in my mind and i thought i might be able to find, but decided to go out and create this one. We went out and literally hit metal rulers against a metal staircase handrail, and then went into audacity and reverberated a copy underneath the sound, and tweaked it a bit to add the lasting effect.

This is the sound of two sticks banging together. I used it for the sound of crutches banging into each other, but i think the sound works for anyone who is trying to recreate wood things hitting each other. Some foley of me knocking on a wooden door that i used for a thematic trailer project recently, thus the rhythmic pounding section towards the end of the recording. There's also a brief recording of the door being opened/closed. Recorded using a rode videomic go into a zoom h1 recorder. Free to use for any projects, no credit required.

Recorded on a canon d550 camera. I live near a water tower built into a hill and firework displays cause a strange echo as the shock wave passes through. Listen to the first burst of bangs and there is a faint sound of "gravel falling into water". I suppose the frequency of the explosion is reverberating in the air gap in the water tower. There is a second burst of fireworks which are far away. Traffic from the a3 road is audible.
