A really nice unmodulated dubstep growl synthesized from white noise in audacity. Sounds similar to synths used in major edm artists' work, such as terror squad from zomboy.

A wobble or "synth growl" i done did in caustic 3 on the saw synth. Used a pulse wave, flange & phaser, then a couple pitch layers in post. √π ∆ π√.

Back in 2015 i have rendered this loop to show my mates how effective ableton's vocal eq presets actually are. I encourage you to try them yourself as well. (not sure about sample key, 150 bpm).

I used a plug-in called harmor on fl studio 11 and i messed around with highpass and lowpass filters with a very wide resonance. Of corse you can use this ''thing'' for whatever you want because it's totally unoriginal and easy to make.

Wrote/recorded short daft punk style tune at 100 bpm in ableton live 9:muugy for synth sound. Analogue bass + bit growl for bass sound. Kontakt 5 for the string sound. Short stabs on a scale c,d,e. . . To. . G,a,b. Fm synthesis. One sinewave oscillator output gets mashed by a another that's outputting a triangular wav. The oscillators are fed back into themselves and each other and 40 voices unison added to create a ubiquitous growl/yoy sound. On large speakers, or a decent pair of buds, the sinewave osc fundmental can be heard as sub-bass. Flstudio was used to host the synthmaker vsti oscillators and render the wav file.
