4-channel hq record of a sudden and heavy thunderstrike (nearly) without rain in the afternoon of a hot summerday. The recording equipment was prepared for recording thunder, so there is no distortion, no compression or (auto)gain reduction done by a limiter in the zoom f8, means the whole dynamic is still there and will be audible by a adequate monitor/audio equipment. ;-)the sound was not edited or otherwise enhanced with effects. This file can be used as a intro followed by my other track (link below), which has soft rain at the beginning, before the thunder comes. . . ;-https://freesound. Org/people/bluedelta/sounds/367222/. The 4 channels are recorded in irt-cross technique (microphone distance 25cm) so it is a 360° (4x90°) record. Http://irt-cross. Mozello. De_________________________________________________________used recording gear:zoom f84 x rode nt1 (without "a" = the black ones). Ch1 = flch2 = frch3 = rlch4 = rr. The download-file is a polywav. If you need to split the file (e. G. To make a stereo file), you can use the easy to use"wave agent beta"(free)from sound devices for example. Https://www. Sounddevices. Com/product/wave-agent/. Comments about this atmo-record are welcome! ;-). . . And you can help others to find this sound easier by (star)rating this track.

Formatted for use in the make noise morphagene by todd barton. Sounds from "music and poetry of the kesh". "all samples have been remastered from the master 8-channel recording sessions of 1984. It has been fun and fascinating "remixing" them in the morphagene. " - todd. Music and poetry of the kesh is the documentation of an invented pacific coast peoples from a far distant time, and the soundtrack of famed science fiction author, ursula k. Le guin’s always coming home. In the novel, the story of stone telling, a young woman of the kesh, is woven within a larger anthropological folklore and fantasy. The ways of the kesh were originally presented in 1985 as a five hundred plus page book accompanied with illustrations of instruments and tools, maps, a glossary of terms, recipes, poems, an alphabet (le guin’s conlang, so she could write non-english lyrics), and with early editions, a cassette of “field recordings” and indigenous song. Le guin wanted to hear the people she’d imagined; she embarked on an elaborate process with her friend todd barton to invoke their spirit and tradition. Full album available here:. Https://ursulakleguintoddbarton. Bandcamp. Com/album/music-and-poetry-of-the-kesh. Todd has also released a remix of the reel on soundcloud. Post yours in the comments!. Https://soundcloud. A full hip-hop rap beat with piano and strings to make it emotional. Please do not use this loop as a sample for your rap or hip-hop tracks. This loop if not to be used as free sample for rapping purposes. Since there are some comments about using this loop, in response to this. Yes, this is a free website where you can download sounds and samples. Yes you can download this and yes you can rap to it. What i specifically want to state is that, no you may not breeze by and "steal" this loop to "rap" over it for commercial use, for your own gain. Yes you can use this sample i created for a video, film, documentary. No you may not build a complete or partial song of your band or rapper rapping to it and release it to the public for your gain. In other words, feel free to use it as you wish, but respect the work. If you feel the need to download this sound to make it "big" then go ahead, "steal" it. But i hope you have more respect for artists that write music such as myself. I cant stop you from doing as you wish with it, but i can make a statement and tell you what i want my music meant for.

The new and improved ultra-soft noise v2 is here!. This has been optimized for itunes and other audio players. The file includes full tags and album art - 320kbps mp3. Simply log in and slam that download button. Free to download and distribute!. Created completely from end-to-end with open-source software. The audio has been updated to higher quality:3x the noise of the previous version, but with a slightly softer tone to increase effectiveness. Over 100 separate streams of noise was generated to create this. (v1 used 21 streams in 44khz/24-bit in a v0 mp3)the entire project was created, mixed, and mastered in 96khz/32-bit float. This file is limited to 1 hour because the use of a larger bit-rate and the amount of noise used. Helps with many sound pollution problems and audio-stimulus problems such as: sleep, concentration, tinnitus, headaches, and so much more!. If this has helped you, please share your story in the comments below and feel free to distribute this all over the web to help others!. I am leaving the original file https://freesound. Org/s/132275/ online for those who prefer it's tone and texture over this - v2 is a smoother and more relaxing texture.
