With recent heat waves, we've had some pretty intense thunderstorms here in france. I captured that moment in my backyard the other night. 24 / 48 amb sound. Around -35 lufs int. Spaced omni, about 30 cm (uši pro w/ windbubbles) + mixpre-6free to use in any project.

This is a large shed housing a hundred goats owned by a local cheese producer. It's an autochthonous goat breed called 'cabra palmera' (goat from la palma island). Listen to their bells. You can also hear them bleat, even munch some straw if you pay attention. . . Alongside with a chatty rooster. Recorded with a sennheiser cardioid dynamic mic onto a sony pcm-d50.

Here you can listen to a bike, then a car, by night, on the same straight desert wet road. Note the differences of the sound duration and the sound volume. The night is quite silent, only some discreet water drops. The road is wet. Same mic position (10m high in a metelilic structure 10m from the road), same record level. Recorded with 2 clippy em172 in an ab setuprecorded on zoom f3, originaly recorded at 32bits floatwave stereo, 24bits, 48khz. France, nov2022.

20 minutes field recording of eveningsounds in my backyard in belgium, springtime in 2021. At first a few chickens wander close to the microphone, your hear doves and a lot of blackbirds singing to each other. After a few minutes the chickens prepare for the night. At about 14:00 a goose flight is passing by, in the end you hear a distant plane passing and a train. Recording in stereo with a zoom h4n pro and windshield, mildly processed afterwards.

This sound was taking in a very rural area of transilvania having some sheeps grazing in the distance with some bells attached around there neck. At the beginning you can hear also a van passing by.

This sound was made by me, i tied down my canon powershot a460 digital camera inside the engine bay of my 1993 rover 620si, and it's got a petrol honda engine, no turbo on this version. I had my video recording on my camera in the engine bay while i was driving. I started the engine up and took it for a drive. I simply took the sound off the video. This is a sound of a mercedes benz 709d mini bus driving on a really hard icy road. It was a rattly old bus, everything squeaked and rumbled on it. I videoed this sound of a subway train in glasgow scotland on the famous "clockwork orange" train as they are called. I used my canon powershot a460 digital camera to video this, i simply took the sound from the video.
