According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.

Spring peepers are small frogs that emerge from mud in the spring. Recorded near a golf course, april 14 2020 around 8pm. Zoom h2n spatial mode, trimmed and amplified in audacity, dropped to 2-track for wav export. Sorry about the highway noise in the background.

A recorded walk during the day with an explanation to each sound that can be heard. Mostly all sounds were man made like a plane and car. Sounds were enhanced by other sounds used from this website. Made for a demonstration at loyola high school for a music appreciation course.

Car sounds recorded in tampere, during the day/afternoon in normal/slightly windy weather conditions. Recorded in autumn/early winter using the built in microphone of a oneplus 6 in wav-format. This is a sound sketch trying to replicate the sound-walk near my house. This is for an assignment for the music appreciation course of loyola high school. The sound sketch includes sounds from freesound. Org such as car making a doppler effect, wind, birds cawing, and footsteps on concrete.

A short cello phrase recorded in amstelveen (netherlands) on the 22th of september 2012. A rme fireface 400 soundcard was used and ableton live as recording software. The resulting sound is a mix between recording with a zoom h4n (used as microphone), a dpa 4099 and an oktava mk-012 microphone.

I have a large hound dog with long, heavy ears and he did the dog head-shake. I was trying to get a howl. He saw the microphone and of course, got quiet. And shook his head. It's a fairly unique sound. Please suggest what else it could represent, if you have any ideas.

Also slightly low-shelf filtered to remove excessive wind noise. Recording made in city park in ottawa, feb. 17, 2017. Sounds include bird calls and snow-removal equipment.

Sound walk for kadenze course introduction to sound and acoustic sketching. This particular walk was recorded at dick nichols park in south austin, texas. Highlights include basketball playing, cars driving, birds chirping, some walking sound, and kids playing.

The soundscape is created by using behringers pro-1 and crave. I recorded into logic via a yamaha mixer and steinbergs ur22 mk1. In logic i destroyed the sound completely with a bunch of effects. Effects used: space delay, microphaser, a vocoder and of course my beloved bitcrusher. Did some equalizing too.

This long recording was taken aboard the odoriko super view train from ito city bound for atami. You can hear the conductor's announcements, station arrivals and departures, passenger conversations (in japanese) and, of course, the train itself. The recording is unprocessed and made with a stereo mic pair at a 90 degree incidental angle.

This recording was made as part of a class exercise, sound and acoustic sketching course. It was part of a sound walk starting in the meditation hut in my back garden down the back lane passing a electricity sub generator and playing children.

Bird park: here the most prominent sounds are those of birds flying around. You can hear how wind is being pushed around by wings and of course the happy chatter between birds.
