A trumpeting roar-like sound i made by dragging a heavy metal chair across a cement floor. I picture a herbivorous creature, maybe like an indricotherium, making this call, but feel free to use this sound for any creature you want! edited in audacity.

An echoing call of the idiot god from the deep recesses of space. This was done by foley work i was doing for ballad of the seven dice. I modified my voice with numerous effects in audacity to draw it out and deepen it.

The Alder Flycatcher is a small birg that lives in thickets. Very much like the Willow Flycatcher.

A bird created by whistling. Recorded with a (blue microphones, snowball ice) the sound was postprocessed to make the bird sound more unique, for jungle soundscapes. Used audacity for both recording and processing. This is a crow picked up by dreamtalk recorder, a brilliant app for iphone/ipad/android. It was early hours in the morning and it was outside my window. I have had to amplify the file quite a lot to make it easier to hear. I thought it sounded fed up in its tone, i've not heard one exactly like this before.

Please rate if you like this sound :). This is my voice. I was trying to recreate a similar sound to those of the shrieking nazgul creatures in lord of the rings. They are referred to as different things but overall a creepy, evil, raspy, breathy type screeching sound. I created this with a type of practiced scream on a blue yeti usb condenser microphone. I recorded in audacity and added some reverb, fade in, and fade out. It was originally for a video game voice over audition. I also have the original with no fx if needed. My example/inspiration were the creatures in lord of the rings, fellowship of the ring. They are also called the fell riders and the black wings (when they ride the fell beasts), as well as the shadows, the servants of sauron, and the nine servants of the lord of the rings.
