This is a mono recording of around ten seagulls floating on the calm morning sea, begging for some fish. Mic: dpa-4017, mixer/recorder: sd-552.

A hillside above the croatian coastal town of brela, in the afternoon, featuring crickets, some quiet background traffic, and nothing much more. These recordings were done during my recent vacation in brela, croatia, with a zoom h2 set at 90° diffusion. Stereo recording of the interior of an ice cream parlor in the historic center of dubrovnik / croatia. It is early afternoon in high summer. The sales crew are a merry lot, bantering loudly with the tourists of different nations that are absolutely cramming the place. Lots of multinational voices can be heard, men, women and children talking loudly and all at once. Under that is the intense hum of a cooling system working itself to death!the ice cream was good too. I can recommend the peanut flavor. Recorded with a zoom h2, mics set to 90° dispersion.
