This is a sound to emulate cracks on a wall as they happen or rocks falling off a cave or earthquake aftermath. Simply by holding my olympus ws600 against a lamp with beeds and crumbling hard plastic on the other then i uploaded the file to audicity and added the gverb effect to make it sound from a short distance and converted the file to mono as well :).

I mixed together other public domain sounds from this site to make a convenient rock crumbling sound for video games or other things. You may want to speed it up some depending on how fast this rocks are crumbling!. Https://www. Freesound. Org/people/gfrog/sounds/190505/https://www. Freesound. Org/people/oscaraudiogeek/sounds/328934/https://www. Freesound. Org/people/allanz10d/sounds/155934/. I use this site a lot for public domain sound effects, and i just wanted to give back in the little way i can :).

Recorded with zoom h2 at 96 khz / 24-bit. Edited and converted to flac using audacity, otherwise unprocessed. Midway through recording i have lowered my gain setting from hi to mid to avoid clipping. Some background noise (fridge) is left in for noise removal. I prefer to get raw audio from freesound i can process myself - gives me maximum options, that's why i deliver the same. Video recording:https://youtu. Be/ezqsxnbvl4o.
