Recorded in a studio with an akg 414 condensor microphone set to cardioid polar pattern. Placed close to the cymbal.

A 130bpm beat sample featuring some ride cymbal work and some synth, created in fl studio using the sakura and poizone plugins.

These are samples from the new korg electribe emx2 music production station not the best recording quality but some nice sounds anyway the weird naming is due to the autoslice function in renoise wich i used to separate the samples from a one shot recording.

Istanbul 18" agop signature china cymbal (agch18-1012815p),audix fusion f15 cymbal condenser mic,envelope reshaped via wavelab on steps-quantized fade out. Do that: open wavelab and press "v" or wavelab/open file/process/level envelope. . . And design smooth fading out steps.

Played with shaping low-frequency noise and speeding it up, made a nice, usable cymbal. Will also upload original speed.
