Super useful electronic chords. The omnichord is a true classic. The only catch is you have to chop them yourself. I just load them into a beat slicer and go to town :). Also sounds amazing with distortion!.
Turns out if the time is right for it, the microphone sensitive enough and you amplify with audacity, some pretty graphic sounds are present. Don't ask if it's real. It is. Sexual penetration and lots of movement, and i wasn't even in charge. :d almost inaudible during the act.

Submarine sonar war - add reverb to suit. Made and inspired during a long dialog clean up session - a random 'ring' in the echo when someone yelled in a room. High e played on an acoustic gibson jumbo. The guitar was recorded with a single microphone (a brauner phantera) connected to an api pre-amp. The signal was fed into a digidesign a/d converter and recorded in protools 9 in waveform audio file format. All the samples were subsequently edited with the gpl software audacity. Location milano, italy. 2013.
Test recording using pair of nt55 omni mics mounted end to end (using modified female-to-female xlr coupler) in a blimp. Recording on quiet but breezy day in norfolk village garden: sounds of birds etc. And, towards the end, a car going past. Recorded via sound devices mixpre-d and tascam dr70d. No processing except normalising.

My headset was plugged in into internal audio device, capture level sets to maximum and used command:arecord -c2 -f cd -d 10 internalaudiodevicenoise. Wav. Yes, guys, it's linux! :-). So pretty noise generated by very cheap device!as you can see from the console command, audiofile have the next format: signed 16 bit little endian, rate 44100 hz, stereo, duration 10 seconds.
