This was an experiment running a yamaha tx81z through a korg ea-1. The fm is a grand piano patch decimated and warmed up with analog oscillators. Sampled into an mpc. 44. 1k, 16-bit.

Before corsica_s's girlfriend started taking so many requests, she never cursed. And i wanted to take the samples of her moaning and breathing heavy and combine it with some dirty-sounding stuff. But it ended up way too dirty a concept and i got uncomfortable and never used it. And edited them together in audacity to manually create her saying "fuck". Then they recorded her saying "sexy motherfucker" and other shit and i realized i have way too much free-time.

I've been working on a plugin for unity to allow users to create short loops from arrangements of other loops. Seems to be working pretty well, pretty much like a low-tech version of acid. This sound was created as follows:. -zynaddsubfx free (and insanely amazing) software synthesizer generated simple g tone using a sine-wave adsynth engine- creative sbs 250 speakers played it back distorting the sound naturally and adding some interesting stereo phasing effects (is that caused by analog signal cable being longer for one speaker?)- i was manually changing the volume using the speaker's potentiometer (whitch is dirty and added some interesting noises on the right speaker, and also at peak loudness during the 54th second the right speaker is quiet)- the output was captured by zoom h2's rear mics- and recorded via usb into audacity free audio editing program- i exported the recording as 16-bit flac.

This is a very quick and dirty lo-fi recording of a very unsettling noise i am currently hearing outside of my 2nd story bedroom window. I have no clue what it could be. I have lived here for over a decade and never heard this sound. It's like wind, but it keeps fading in and disappearing again. When it starts, it sounding like very rapid, almost whistling, shallow breathing. I can't imagine what is making this sound, but it's pretty unnerving, and i'm too creeped out to open the curtains. I'm hoping someone can recognize this and tell me what this is because i'm starting to get very uncomfortable after about 10 minutes of hearing this on and off again. I am attempting to record it as it happens, so i've got several recorded instances of this if you want to hear more of it.
