I got into a small crawl space under a concrete road, which seemed to be an old sewage tunnel, and recorded the sound of a car driving overtop of me. It's a gentle rise and fall of a car engine. You can hear me let out my breath as the car drives away.

A single motorcycle drives by and disappears into the distance. The surrounding birds pay it no mind.

I move the gear shifter from park to reverse to drive, and back and forth. This is the sound of the driver manipulating the stick, not the car's transmission changing gears. You can hear the vehicle idling softly.

I'm driving a renault duster with manual transmission (hand brake, ignition, start, drive 10 minutes, open windows, close windows, stop, turn off the engine). Recorded on the sony pcm d-100 (it's lying on the front passenger seat).

Sound of my blu-ray player's disk drive opening and closing repeatedly. Recorded on a pixel 4a, cleaned up a little in fl studio 20. This sound is cc0, so use it wherever/however you want, but if you do use it in something i'd love to hear about it in the comments!.

A close up recording of an overheating usb slot-loading cd/dvd drive that repeatedly tries to spin up, but fails and makes some clicking noises. Note on low frequency sounds: i recorded this with a zoom h1n recorder at about 2cm distance from the drive slot. I held the recorder in my hand and rested my hand on the surface the cd drive was resting on, so there is somewhat of a mechanical connection between the drive's vibrations and the recorder. I believe this led to the low frequency parts of the recording. About halfway through the recording, i lifted the drive up with my other hand and held it at a 30degree angle to the surface and recorder. As you can hear in the recording, this made it spin up a little longer before failing and spinning back down.
