An approximation of the sound of one's ears ringing. It combines multiple tones to create a more realistic effect. The sound was generated by a program i made specifically to create this sound.

This is the sound that myself and others agree is what you hear when a loud noise makes your ears ring. Why this particular frequency? i don't know. It's just a simple generated tone--you can loop it to make it longer.

A mosquito ringtone 11kHz. Nice to put on your phones or computers and piss people off with. They wont know where the hell its coming from. Very high pitch ringing sound, sounds just like that ringing you get in your ear sometimes. Nice for pranks.

A few specials for you, freesounders. Discrete and soft like a banana split. I could make 100, but the market is overflown by ear sweets, so i just liked to see what you would say.

You know that high pitch beep you hear after something super loud, like an explosion? here's a five second effort to reproduce that sound. It fades out towards the end like the person either comes back to themselves or passes out. There's probably some on freesound already but i couldn't find them so i just made my own in audacity.

Sounds of a ceramic coffee cup being hit with a steel spoon, single hits and repetitive fast hits for imitating a bell of sorts. Caution: may get noisy and ear-piercing ;). I recorded this for my own sound design purposes (game sfx) and thought i would share it with anyone who may find it useful - if you do, please help yourself and enjoy!.

Sounds of a wine glass being hit with a steel spoon and wooden stick, single hits and repetitive fast hits for imitating a bell of sorts. Going into nice overtones in the second part. Caution: may get noisy and ear-piercing ;). Ringmodulated inversion of my speech from the file https://freesound. Org/people/kb7clx/sounds/648443/ invertedspeechcq. Wav. I took the raw recording and used goldwave's mechanize effect to translate my voice to a center frequency of 14khz. I then demodulated it first at 10. 6 and then 10. 2khz meaning that what comes out is essentially the opposite sideband, offset by 3. 4 and 3. 8khz respectively. 3khz just didn't sound as good. The first i filtered with a low pass of 2. 9khz, the second was filtered to below 3. 4khz to emulate a communications receiver passband. I am speaking upside down as described in this video. Https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=q_ykxzcbh-g beginning at 00:03:16. Being blind i can't see their diagram, but i've got my own by ear intuitive method, keeping in mind that oo and ee are farthest from each other, all other vowells get closer the closer they are to the middle of the human voice frequency range. I say: huhlay sue quee, sue quee, sue quee do ux. Cahlloong sue quee sue quee sue quee do ux. The ay in huhllay is like when a spanish speaker says béisbol (baseball). The a in cahlloong is like the a in cat if you're opening wide for the doctor. The oo is like the oo in book. Listen to the other file and you'll hear: hello cq cq cq dx. Calling cq cq cq dx.
