749 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Eerie"

A spooky "wailing" sound, that puts your senses on-edge. Simply made with my electric guitar and me messing around with effects in audacity. Paul stretch is a superb effect for creating a stretched out "wailing" sound.

This is a field recording of a grey seal pup wailing while trying to find its mother's teat. Recorded at a lincolnshire grey seal colony in late november 2012. A lot of wind noise, unfortunately.

Old creepy music box. Was recorded with my phone and will add a higher quality version when i get the time.

Used as transition between scenes for a play. The chord is unusual but essentially a major chord. Does not adhere to equal temperament so it sounds odd to the typical musical ear.

Another audio i made for a roblox project. I forgot which scp game it was, but they had used this audio for their version of scp 002 the living room. This is a background hiss my cheap microphone records when i use my laptop. I recorded with audacity. This one has spikes of static noise every so often, sounding almost like faint voices. It's creepy in my opinion. It can also sound like water or a waterfall running in the background, or a beeping futuristic computer in a spaceship.

While creating an ambient haunted house track, i created 4 slightly different versions of a grandfather clock chime by layering tube bells, hand bells, and a vibraphone at varying dynamics and articulations in musescore 2. 0. The chime rings at a b2. I obviously had a clock in mind when creating these sounds, but you could also use this as a singing bowl, a bell or gong, or as any number of sound effects.

Dark background sound in place of background music. I recorded this in my booth, using audacity and my cad e100s. The higher sound is a pen tapping on the bottom of a metal cup. I used various effects to stretch, raise pitch, and a few others. I also layered the higher sound 4 times to get the "harmony". The low sound was my voice. I lowered pitch, speed and stretched the wave, as well as a few other effects as well. Enjoy.

Inspired by a strange japanese number station i heard around 2012. I generated white noise, recorded an old toy, and found some public domain static and put it all together in this extremely eerie piece. It gets even creepier if you lower the pitch.
