Volume 1 of a new series, 5 minute recordings of me doing stuff with a certain effect/synth, or alternatively playing on my keyboard. Sample/modify/use however you want. A tense but pretty still athmosphere created with a number of tools by me. Got some subtle movement in it and consists of several major parts. Here's a vocal sample of "hydrochloric acid" ran through audioterm and sent to a waldorf blofeld as a wavetable. The blofeld pitches up and then scans the wavetable (via mod wheel, so it's fun), which plays out what you hear here, plus a fair bit of outboard verb. Sounds like a vocoder but it's not. As opposed to traditional samplers the pitch is independent of the playback rate / length of the sample.

Short stabs on a scale c,d,e. . . To. . G,a,b. Fm synthesis. One sinewave oscillator output gets mashed by a another that's outputting a triangular wav. The oscillators are fed back into themselves and each other and 40 voices unison added to create a ubiquitous growl/yoy sound. On large speakers, or a decent pair of buds, the sinewave osc fundmental can be heard as sub-bass. Flstudio was used to host the synthmaker vsti oscillators and render the wav file.

This is just a simple four to the floor kick drum pattern at 120 bpm. I created the kick itself by layering various synth timbres in rob papen's albino plugin. Processing was also applied such as compression, eq and using subtle distortion in specific frequency areas to get it sounding like this. Tc-electronic novasystem hiss. This is awesome device, but at one moment it was started produce this hiss. First part is line input and second part is guitar (tc it's call "drive") input. In the each part i switch on for a few seconds "mod" pedal on the processor.

Same patch as in electronic minute no 226 but on my real modular. I'm using a wave folder. Thats why i call this version additive. I'm adding timbre to a sinus wave. I will do an subtractive version next.
