81 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Exhausted"

The exhaust fan in my computer case spinning at 1000 rpm an inch from the mic. Loops seamlessly. Recorded with a roland edirol r-09hr and edited in audacity. If you use this sample, please tell me what you did with it below! links are nice too.

Recorded near a drainpipe, i have no idea what the bass wind sound in the background is. I think it was some sort of exhaust from the basement around, but i don't know why it turned off and on. In any case it makes for a very spooky ambient effect.

Car idles, then revs for no other reason but to make a noise. Can't remember what type of car it was, but it was blue and little flames came out of the exhaust. Tascam dr-22wl, internal mics, deadcat. 15hz high pass filter.

Recorded during riding by attaching a zoom h4n at my left leg. The xy-microphone pointed vertically direction to the seat/engine, so no spectacular stereo-sound, but different sound timbre on l/r. The exhaust had a rusted hole so it's not the original vespa-sound but more rough. Different styles of driving. Including starter and switching off. No sound editing was made, so maybe you like to filter away low frequencies (some little wind was behind the shield).

A recording of my car wheel spinning on gravel in a local car park at night. Recorded using a tascam dr100 portable recorder and a behringer c4 condenser microphone.

Start up and ride off aboard a little honda crf250 with leo vince exhaust. This was recorded on a zoom h1 with home made external mics strapped to the outside of a backpack.

Male grounting recorded in house with se 4400a microphone and focusrite clarett 2pre usb. I also removed noise in izotope rx and did a little gating to make sure that only clear grunts are audible. Enjoy!.

In the sketchy neighborhood near the warehouse a piece of crap supertuner import hot rod, driven by a guy in a neon yellow shirt and white wraparound sunglasses, revs its engine as it passes.

A short parade of ferraris on their way up lymington high street. The street is lined with people chatting and cheering at the cars, which beep their horns and rev their engines. Zoom h1 with roland cs-em10 in ear mics. Seems a bit heavy on the low frequencies, but i've left it as-is.

Recorded opposite the start at goodwood circuit on a wet and windy day in march. Cars pulling out one at a time on wet tarmac. Mixpre3 and rode svmx.

This is a clip of various engine sounds recorded on my 2003 subaru impreza wrx with a 3" turbo-back exhaust system. The audio starts with the engine at idle and includes a few engine revs at different rpms. You can hear some turbo whistling and also some rattling of god-knows-what parts. It's a little muffled (kind of a muddy sound), but could be used as part of an action sequence or with a music track laid over. This is the sound of a broken musical greeting card that once played the song "the best" written by chapman and knight, and sung by tina turner. Upon opening, it now sounds like static.

A drowsy, warm lazy hot day in mid-summer in the forest of the midwestern usa. As is the case around mid-july, the birds are not singing as much. Perhaps they are just exhausted from raising a family and wilting from the heat. The insect chorus ebbs and flows, like the ocean waves creeping up on the beach, and retreating back. Except, unlike the ocean which never stops moving, the insects will eventually stop singing and hibernate for the winter. I have always loved the sound of propeller-driven planes and their slow, molasses-like sound. That sound has always induced a melancholy touch to the recordings. To me, this drowsing plane symbolizes change -- even though the birds and plants are still in full growth, the end is near. . . In about four more weeks schools will resume, the emphasis for many will turn inward. Leaving the woods to deal with the transition. The droning plane, like ocean waves, symbolize change. . . In several months there woods will be drastically changed. Recording made on july 18, 2022 using sound devices mixpre 6 and the sennheiser mkh 8020 omnidirectional microphone.
