A bit of spooky music i made in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. I made some chords and tones with an organ-sound with a lot of delay and effects on it. Added other eerie sounding noises and voila, a scary bit of music. Think it would fit anything creepy, scary, haunted. Fantasy, horror, terrifying, dystopia or whatever comes to mind. A heartbeat sound i created. Fairly consistent through most of it, and then speeds up into heart-attack mode about 30 seconds from the end. To make it, i took a kick-drum sample and a snare-drum sample, and made a pattern of kick-snare, kick-snare, kick-snare, over and over. I then eq'd them to be less distinct and drum-like, added tape saturation to increase the low-end thumping, a small chorus effect and some compression to get rid of the drums' attack. . . Basically just over-processed the hell out of it. Then i used a plugin called wok m-st to get a fake hard-panned stereo effect. My goal was to make it sound like your heartbeat sounds in your ears when you've been running too fast for too long. I think it sounds cool.

Approaching army? rising nightmare?. Wrote/recorded an eerie nightmare approaching in the distance sound. The sound starts soft and builds to a crescendo. Ezdrummer2 was used w/ a low pass eq filter. Panned left is ableton stock plugin glass cave mirror. Panned right is polar pad. Center is the ezdrummer2 w/ a low pass eq filter combined with the all alone pad stock plugin. Only processing: gentle eq highpass at 95 hz. And some slight gain reduction.
