My dog and the nieghbour's dog don't like each other. While i was asleep they went to the fence and from the calmness they barked and growled at each other. The neighbour's dog who has sharper voice tore some pieces of the wooden fence on the nieghbour's side but the another layer of the fence is iron and cannot be toren apart by them. Recorded using jez riley french contact microphones, on a windy day on the south coast of england. I connected a pair of contact microphones to different parts of a metal fence and let the wind do the rest. Starts off gently and gradually the intensity increases as the wind picks up. You can hear the fence rattling and a ambient drone of the wind blowing.

Generative modular acid line sequenced with my own custom script that is specialized for non-quantized sort of strings of notes. I mangled the envelope quite a bit though so it just sounds more swingy than anything i guess. Not sure what the bpm would be. Would be better if it were cut up for one-shot sounds maybe.

A little bird started singing on a fence next to my window and i started imitating him with my stones of skiddaw midi player, added in an accompaniment. This is a field recording done with iphone xs on isle of skye - metal doors in the fence on the way to the sea so that humans can pass and sheep cannot.

Mournful cows mooing in the night. These are my neighbor's pasture-raised cattle and they have a pretty good life but about this time every year he has to wean the calves. He separates the calves from their mothers. They are on opposite sides of a fence. The fence is a single electric wire. The mothers and their calves are inches from each other but not in the same field. It makes me so sad to hear them in such distress but they seem to get over it in a few days.
