For a sound design project. I got the clock tower bell and bird field recordings from freesound and combined a sound of a metallic object and stick breaking to create the ticking.

Recorded on a zoom h1n microphone, this encapsulates a unique sounding escalator found in a local shopping centre.

Slow freight caught in the middle of passing by with h4npro.

Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.

Very complex sound which took a lot of effort to make. Used different techniques to create the punch. The drop was created by creating a body out of pillows sand ect. Layered and used effects.

Various whooshes created with recordings from a highway underpass, a tattoo machine, a bowed electric bass and a washer on a string.

This is the source recording for my first sound made for my "a sound design everyday" project. Every day i will record a sound and then create designs, collages, and lil' music tidbits using the source recording and only the source recording. A 7 minute continuous clip of birds in my backyard. 24 bit 48khz recorded with a sound devices 552 and a matched stereo pair of akg c451b's. There are times where the wind distorts the recording - it was unavoidable even though i did have wind screens on the mics. Hopefully you can cut and paste. Enjoy. . . Peace!.

This is a recording of the sea-side. The wind noise was was difficult to remove (i hadn't used a wind shield for the microphone); so i decided to use it as part of a sound designed piece. I would use this as background for gaming or for radio drama; you may use it however you wish.

Swishes for layering, transitions. Some swishes have a tonal character to it and every swish is different so you can use it for multiple situations in an edit or something.
