3 gal. Bucket with a sony voice recorder placed on the inside. Edited with sony sound forge, eq to get rid of the crappy voice recorder sounds and added time compress 85% of original, bend pitch and reverse on end. Also added stereo pan.

I recorded this on a different guitar (1910 max amberger) and at a faster tempo. I'm still getting the hiss and tried to remove some in sony sound forge. Recorded on my yamaha pocketrak. Please comment on what you may use it for. Thanks. :^).

I recorded this on sept. 7th, 2013 in enumclaw, wa. We don't get many thunderstorms here and this one was a doozy. I used a yamaha pocketrak recorder and edited with sony sound forge. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks :o).

This is a free kick sound i created using a roland 808 drum machine. I then ran it through distortion and compression in sound forge to get this hard boomy crunchy punch. Pitched at c2 for convenience. Enjoy :).

This are noises of a rain gutter during a rainfall. As this was recorded on my balkony there are strong reflections of the adjacent brick walls. I recorded this with a yamaha pocketrak that i taped to the feeder and enhanced the vol. With sony sound forge. It was fun to watch their reaction to the recorder but they eventually figured out it was harmless. This is a recording of two gretsch catalina maple floor toms, one 14 inches in diameter, one 16 inches. I replaced the original tom feet with pearl air suspension feet, which gave a huge improvement in tone, resonance and sustain. Recorded with a sony ecm-ds70p stereo recording microphone into an iriver h340 mp3 player. Normalized in sony sound forge.

A short segment as i played along with the ramones' song: my brain is hanging upside down. I recorded it on my roland td-9 module and edited it in sony sound forge and sony vegas. There's a slight buzz that i get and i tried to clean it up as best i could with noise reduction. Someday i'll figure out what is causing the buzz. Please comment on what you may use it for. Stereo recording 48khz 24bit from the top of hangman's hill in the malvern hills, uk. Recorded for world listening day 2014 on 18 july in the early afternoon. Recorded with rode nt4 and sennheiser mkh416 through sound devices 442 into tascam dr-40. Additional processing in sound forge. The nt4 had quite a lot of top end hiss that i didn't really notice until too late.

Looking at the spectrogram waveform display of https://freesound. Org/people/ivolipa/sounds/344948/ i noticed a few patterns. Distinct bands of high volume at around ~600hz, ~1200hz, ~1800hz, the fade in volume toward higher frequencies, a ubiquitous noise, and the soft staccato rhythm. Using these facts, i tried to make yet another engine sound with fm-synthesis. Sound forge 7 — to my knowledge — lacking a spectrogram, i've no clue if this was a successful attempt, but it does have a vaguely engine-like sound.

This was in our backyard and i have no idea why the birds were doing this. I couldn't see them in the thick bushes and i couldn't tell how many there were. They just went on and on and i never heard them like this before except for maybe one or two squawking away at times. A bit of wind came up and a few background noises. This is something that my on-line teacher has me playing. I took up the guitar again and even though this is a short piece it has a certain beauty to it. It should be played faster, but i think it also sounds nice at this tempo. The recording has a hiss and i don't know why as my recorder is a yamaha pocketrak. Rain in brittany on a windy winter day. I built this sound by mixing several field recordings made on the same spot: a small wood in the south of the region. These recordings had different focuses: some were more wind-oriented, others had more rain. . . Instead of publishing these individual takes, i chose to mix them in order to create a soundscape that would vary in density, depth and spacing. Recorded with a zoom h2n in x/y stereo mode. Mixed in nuendo 2. Mastered in sound forge 8.

A quick clip of me saying "enemy boat spotted" in a low tone through a motorola cls series radio as a video game reference. Should be a great audio joke for all your inspired military style films to randomly insert playing from a tactical radio in the middle of no where for those who get it. Tascam dr-07 mkii stereo inserted directly into a motorola cls series radio and did a basic normalization in sony sound forge to make it more audible. I may or may not do requests depending on how many people like this. We'll see.

Just a quick recording before class today. Recorded from a tascam dr-07 mk ii stereo in mp3 192 kbps 48,000 hz, pointed a bit to the sky toward a florida mockingbird about 2 meters away. If you listen closely enough, there's some crows in the bg too. Ambiance sound is the sound of a busy divided highway about 500 meters away. I processed this sound in sony sound forge a bit to remove some of it. Just beware, the sound file contains a slight camera double beep at 9 and 15 seconds, although for student film purposes i don't see any penalty for it.
