When i first got my olympus ws-310m, i showed it to my little brother who is 18. I hit record and handed it to him. He looked at it for a second and when i told him it was recording, he made this sound. I used my olympus ws-310m for this recording.

We were having a small rainstorm, so i thought i'd go out and record the rain. As you can see, (or hear!), i got much more than that! this is the complete original audio, all unedited. It sounds as if the lightning struck at least three times! enjoy! (i know i do!).

It's a sound i got from a lost recovered wav file. It was a 24-bit file but i have imported it as a 16-bit one, the ruseulting sound is an interenstin non-uniform noise with a modulation to it. Could be a neat sound for broken electronics.

Here is some more of that couple next door. This one got some good loud noises as well as some soft noises of the woman. The sex noises is from 2:30-5:54. The other unnecessary noises kept in were mainly from the couple. This is edited and shortened with audacity.

We got wood brought to our house from our woodman, and we brought a few armloads inside because we are already building fires. In the middle of the night, the woodbin started to make a strange noise. I figured it is some sort of bark chewing insect, but i have not seen it yet.

My small dog was running around outside and got pretty hot. When i brought her in, she began lapping up water at a fast pace. She's also a little sniffly so it got some nice sniffle noises in there too. I feel like this could work well for plenty of different character shots, from a monster, to a comedy-type shot of someone eating something like noodles, to a dog drinking water in an animation. Do you ever go on the internet on your phone and discover a page that tells you that your iphone is infected with some virus even though it's a scam? sometimes it could either be clicking on an ad or your phone being redirected to some website. Well, last time i got a message like that, i'll put it in there either voice text to speech app for your phone. Are used to paul voice, so it would sound like the critical alert from microsoft error again. This could also be a prank to anyone who hasn't seen this. This time i used narrators voice to copy and paste the text that i got. You can download narrators voice on your phone or ipad or ipod touch.

Note c. I recorded the ukulele on my phone, playing the note c on several strings. The recording was then reversed and treated with more reverb. I was doing some field recording and it so happen that when i was out and about we had hail storm so i recorded from the start to finish. Whew! almost got hit by a hail stone as big as a pingpong ball. Yes, it was that big my car has dent all over, not good aye!.

I was just messing around in audacity, doing some things with a party noise maker sound effect, i slowed it down, put some reverb & echo, messed with the pitch a little bit, and got this! it's supposed to be kinda like "trumpets in the sky" and/or war of the worlds inspired.

This is a looping sound effect. Timing got screwy while making it so i dont have a bpm or even a time sig. Made it with an old yamaha synth and a mac. Makes me kind of nervlous when i lissen to it so it might work good whe you wanna confuze somebody or make them cautious.

Re-mixed and done by down-loading and enhancing the sounds. . . Starvolt is where i got it, so the name says it all. It's really more useful to drop in raw with the softer version, as i have turned the vol up.

I came across this singing bird in a tree the middle of the night in a residential neighborhood. This is one funky bird! he's got so many different sounds hes making. The recording isn't as clean as reinsamba's legendary "nightingale", as there is a bit of traffic whine in the backround that comes in at times.

Sitting on an outdoor paris cafe terrace some buskers started up across the road. The wind cooperated and i got this nice blend of chatting cafe sounds, passers by walking on the sidewalk, vehicles and a little of the popular desmond/brubek number 'take five' in the background. A very pleasant beer that was.

One night while recording vocals it was really windy outside, and the wind slammed one of the doors in my house shot. The sound got caught by the mic and i liked it enough to use it as a snare sample for that same song i was recording vocals too. Hope you'll find a creative use for it!.

I recorded my voice while playing freelance horror games; scp-087-b and slender sanatorium. This was so i could get genuine reactions to use as stock voice clips for future use. Some pretty interesting stuff came out. Used my "stay still!" clip in my mod, and it kept shouting it at me until i got far enough away from it.

I then added a reverb effect and created another layer of brownian noise to even out the silence. Metal thumpy toilet paper holder. I got a last minute laptop gig and had no samples with me- i needed some percussive sounds to tweak in ableton live. I headed to a public bathroom with my edirol r-09 and recorded lots of hits in the bathroom. This one was an -sounding metal toilet paper holder.

I got on a cable car to the top of mt. Hakodate. My edirol r-09 happened to catch the sigh of a young woman next to me saying 'kirei' over the outspread night view of the town. It means 'how beautiful,' 'c'est magnifique,' or something like that. Recorded on 17 feb, 2008 with built-in mics.

As part of my sounds collection i pulled my iphone at the london tube and recorded it while standing inside the cart. The recording is from the second i left a station until we got to the next one (including an opening doors). No process was done.

Something i accidentally got while messing around with voxal voice changer by nch software. It was a background noise of my mom closing a door, and i decided to put it in reverse and i couldn't help but notice that it sounded like a low "whoosh" transition. So i opened it in wavepad and added echo + reverb and voila.

We went to strasbourg to follow an invitation by an photographer to his vernissage! to bad that we got stucked into the traffic jam and arrived while the gallery was already closed! that was really a bummer because the drive took us four hours!lucky that i had my zoom h6 because strasbourg is by far an amazing city with so many street life. It is insane how many little streets with these tiny cafes and all the people around! it is like a magnet and you got sucked in. The french people know how to live life and i recorded in 3 parts of the city to give you a nice ambience feeling. This is part 1.

One of the most haunting sounds that i have ever captured. I got on the bus one day and didn't notice anyone on there when i sat down, and then a few moments later, i started hearing this sound. I was confused as to what to do. Do i turn around and look at this laugh-er in the face? what would a person laughing like this do to me if i looked at them? how could a person even laugh like this? it doesn't sound physically possible. As more and more people got on the bus, i saw nobody looking in his direction either. Am i maybe imagining this sound? is there a tiny many laughing in my head?. Upon leaving the bus, i looked back and couldn't tell who must have made the sound, but regardless, it still literally shakes me a bit hearing this audio. . . .
