I was trying to make a subtle beat in the background of a song and turned up the cutoff and got this. It sounds like a robot frog to me, and i figured i might as well post it in case someone gets any use out of it. Changes pitch every four bars. 100 bpm.

I let off fireworks inside a silo. Unfortunately the best audio i got was from the gopro inside. My vcr rewinding a vhs tape. Sounds pretty gnarly at the end. Recorded with a jm27 into my zoom h4n. As a side note, this sound was a real pain to record. Every time i set up the mic, it seemed like the ac would come on, the dog would bark, or some other sound would ruin the recording. Whatever, i got it done.

I took a clip from the audio i recorded of wax paper crinkling, cut a segment from it, played it backwards, put it on loop, layered it with the original, and this is what i got. There is an somewhat syncopated pattern to the sounds, but the audio is cut off before it makes a full cycle. Enjoy.

This sound was from a live video feed on a social media broadcast. At some point the audio just got caught into a feedback loop that lasted for a bit. I thought it sounded interesting and saved it. Has kind of a laser or phaser cannon kind of thing going on. Perhaps an alert sound of some sort. Probably many possibilities for usage.

I got into a small crawl space under a concrete road, which seemed to be an old sewage tunnel, and recorded the sound of a car driving overtop of me. It's a gentle rise and fall of a car engine. You can hear me let out my breath as the car drives away.

I don't often go for fast food, but my bf thinks it's great. So; the counter girl looks exceedingly odd, as in pink hair, hook nose, wild eyes, no boobs, etc, and he orders what he wants with something at least close to this sound. She smiles and nods. He claims he got what he wanted. . . A big mac, no pickle. I asked him to repeat his order for my recorder. Three times. He did. All three were identical. I made noise with my teeth hopefully it sounds like its a squish or squirt that was what i was going for. It was created on audacity with my blue yeti microphone. It was done at home i simply pushed my tongue against my teeth simple and got really close to the mic. You don't have to do this, but i would like for you to tell me what its being used for if its not too much trouble.

This monstrosity is what i got when i attempted to add a reduce vocals effect to an episode of an old low-budget nickelodeon show from the 90s. I don't know why, but trying to apply this effect to it only gave me this horrific garble. Kinda like a messed up tape recorder or something, idk. There's a bit of the man too but hard to hear. The sex parts are from 1:45-4:40, 2:30 is when the woman starts to make loud moans. This was edit and shorten with audacity.

Yes, i'm crazy to stick my head with roland cs10m mics in my ears attached to an olympus ls14 through my back porch door during a hail storm, but what i heard could not be missed. The constant, almost non-stop rull of thunder lends an erie quality to this midnight storm in madison, nj. Got popped on the nose with a couple little stones, but it was worth it.

This is a warm up thing i do its derivative of thunderkiss '65 by white zombie its really funky and fun to improv with that little riff they got going on in that song. This is a recording i got sat outside a retro clothes shop on portobello road in london. Distant music combined with the market and people walking past creates a busy scene with the busy road that runs over the top of the market giving a nice base to fill out the recording. This sound is free to use but i'd love to see what it is used in!.

This is reminiscent of the sound playing in friday the 13th pt. 2 when jenny puts on pamela vorhees old sweater and pretends to be her in an attempt to trick jason. One of the lines she repeats during the scene is "jason, mother is talking to you", hence the file name. This was made in fl studio using morphine. Its got a very eerie sound to it thats for sure. Use it in you horror score or for whatever you like.

For this one, the young couple did it on a morning. There were birds/dogs, planes, neighbor people close by, cars/trucks, and even people in my household got in the recording. Did my best to remove all the noises and only keep the noises coming from that couple. The sex noises are around 2:45-5:15. They weren't that sexually loud since it's morning. Not sure how long they were actively on bed this time either.

This was a happy accient. I was charging a drone battery though an adapter with overvoltage protection, which started beeping and increasing in frequency as the battery got close to full charge. There is a good bit of sound at the end, when i pulled off the battery and the capacitors in the charger discharged. :). Have fun with it! if you want, let me know what you did with it. Cheers!. It was my turn to walk the dog and i was really up for it. As i walked a distance, i could see rain coming from miles away. I could also see that i wouldn't be able to make it home before it got to me, so the dog and i took shelter in a baseball dugout at a local park. The roof was sheet steel, the rain was thunderous and it lasted just about eleven minutes. Hope someone can use it.

I like the first cup of coffee from a good coffee maker. Inevitably though, it gets left on, and then to me it is undrinkable. Overcooked. Terrible. The waste is unacceptable to me. So, we can agree on that, and my partner was about to make a cup for himself. I got it all, jar lids, spooning, stirring with a spoon in a ceramic cup, adding sugar and milk. The last soft thud is the fridge door closing.

I had to make a background track of roman senators talking for a comedy radio theater production. I recorded myself 5 times in different voices (other than my own) and got this track. There's a dumb senator in there, an old man senator, and three other random senator voices. :). You may do whatever you like with this sound. . . This is the new talking traffic signal in town. I got the idea to speed it up from listening to some radio commercials where the person talks a mile a minute to cram as many words into the commercial as possible. I got caught in a freak rainstorm whilst hiking a bit ago, but luckily had packed my h6 in my bag and was able to get some good little rain snippets! there's some super close sounding droplets hitting leaves, some wider pouring rain, and a bit of hand-held noise unfortunately, but i figured there's a little something for everyone here!. Recorded on zoom h6n with xy 120 degree pair.

Sounds recorded on a summer night, in 2005, west of redmond oregon (see geotag). Made with a jvc digital camcorder, it got some interesting sounds of frogs, coyotes howling in the distance and the reaction of a very nervous jackass. The audio quality isn't all that great but, it's not like i was able to recreate the same ambience again, on cue. . .

I was recording with my wireless mic and i had dropped it on the floor and got a sound similar to this one so i started to try to remake it and this is what i came up with. I hope you enjoy this sound as i did creating it. I would like to know what you use it for that is it credit would be nice but not necessary.

In short: for a horror game when a monster spots the player. I made it so that it would "turn on" when the monster spots the player in a horror game i was working on, i got bored and deleted the game. I guess you can use it for a similar purpose. It's very trash but it's the first audio i've ever made, plus i had a "crazy weird insanity" audio in mind, so it kinda fits what i wanted.

Electric sparkle sound made in harmor in flstudio. Sound is made of harmor generating dark, unison, subbas oscilation with three partials with fundamental frequency of 50hz. Partials got decaying amplitude along frequencies. Bass is put into wave shaper with smooth, negative peak distortion at 50% of positive range. Then falls into parametric equalizer boosting 3khz, forming wide parabolic shape. Bass frequencies are cut off. 44. 1khz, 16bit.

This time i promised my self to make my cuts more musical, you guys know, good outside (or) inside recording can be esthetic in many ways. When you walk around and listen carefully, you can hear music everywhere. When i got home i began chopping, an then i realized i could turn this mini recording session into some cool loops as well. I think its a good way of practicing sound design(or anything musically), to just limit your self some times. Basically got the idea when i was studying musique concréte. (concrete music). Could upload the samples if some one is interested?. I used no effects at all, no panning (stereo recordings) or no limiters/compressors. Some of the recording where made by using binaural microphones. I recorded everything with my zoom h4.

Audio from video clips recorded this morning, thurs 29 april 2021, in south yorkshire. Blue tit right at the start of the recording. Some breeze has got picked up by the microphone on the camera. The bluetits are nesting in our garden and i've been filming them coming and going. They often perch and sing before going into the nestbox. Sometimes it's other bluetits visiting the garden rather than just the two who are nesting.
