I've been borrowing from here for years so i wanted to finally give something back. I created this for a video game i never finished. (yes, this is from my own voice). Deep, male voice saying get ready. Great vocal to start any game or activity.

Bartonmusicalcircuits 2lfosh (bmc 017). Manual wiggling. First it acts like a sample and hold and lfo. S/h connected to a vco and the lfo to a filter. Then i'm testing the lfos. After that you hear the two oscillators. Great module. 3 in one. Lfo, sample and hold and oscillators. Square, triangle wave and a mixed waveform!.

Not only do chicken carcasses make a tasty stock they also make great sounds when you mangle them about a bit!. Various squelching and squishing sounds with the occasional bone snap. No processing except small fade in/out. This one has a really annoying breath noise on the mic at the best bit unfortunately.

This was recorded in a university building in melbourne in 2018. It was after hours, in the evening, so the building was mostly empty. I was in a hallway that had lots of hard surfaces including linoleum floors. I could hear a baby crying in a room that was several metres away. This recording is mostly reverb and its very atmospheric. I just recorded it with my smartphone, but it was such a great sound that i had to get it!.

My forklift recorded using my phone at work. I just cut out and muted most of the ambience using goldwave (http://www. Goldwave. Com/) to make it more just the hydraulics. If you cut out sections, scramble them and fool around with the speed in the sound, i think you can get a great variety of pneumatic and robot-sounding sounds out of it.

Walk glass crunch scuff - this recording was made in probably 1998 using a senheiser 416 onto dat tape, it was recorded on set at a night club in thailand for a film called "a hero never dies " i was operating the dat and directed by the foley artist who was actually the director of the film a certain mr johnny to. He made all 20 or 30 people on set hush up for this. A great memory for me shared in perpetuity.

Here's another loop created with my experimental one string dulcimer using an old casstte player head as a pickup. This one's a long ambient loop that can be used as a backing track or chopped up. Bowling: here we have the sounds of a bowling ball hitting the pins in a bowling alley. Not only do you hear the loud crash when contact is being made by the ball but you also hear the pins scatter. There are different variations of the ball hitting the pins to accommodate the user's preferences. They vary in tempo and amplitude. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg. This is a snippet of a lesson i had with my incredible undergrad professor where we talk about a piece i was writing for bowed piano ensemble. He was incredibly influential on my creative process and as students we would regularly use his voice in electronic pieces by stealth recording his lectures. It only felt right to use one of these snippets for this project since it brings back so many great memories.

I made it from my balcony, late afternoon - there is a large playground surrounded with 4 four-storied blocks, so there's a great echo. 11/29/2018 - burbank, california. Rain, flooding, and mudslides come to california when a sudden storm hit today. Most people got off the freeways quickly and tried to protect their homes from water damage. This recording was recorded with a zoomh4npro (2018) set at 120 degree field-pattern mode. The zoom was placed on a tripod facing out a 3rd floor window into a dead-end alleyway below. This recording is great atmospheric sound. The water can be heard trickling off spanish tile rooftops and dripping from overflowing terracotta pots. From the passing cars on a distant highway, to the occasional cough of a homeless gentleman walking on the street below, this recording is genuine and clean. Imagine adding that sound of a metal garbage can and a shrieking cat in the night! a sound that's great for sleeping or portraying a dark alley in gotham!. Enjoy!. Christopher c. Courter.
