Perfect soundtrack for a haunted house, i made this using audio from my electric guitar and working some magic on it to alter the sounds and re-organizing the ones i needed.

Recorded this with my epiphone sg through the focusrite interface into reaper. I changed the octave which gave it an 'organy' sound. I think bach would have had fun with something like this. :-) comments welcome.

Alt version of a melody i came up with in midi shifting notes around. The sound is from an acoustic guitar note sample of mine with effects, ran through structure free in pro tools.

A simple fade in using my volume knob. Gear used:. Vox tonelab se, ibanez uv777 packed with seymour duncan sh, tascam dr-05.

This is a paul reed smith recorded live with delay and reverb at a tempo of 90bpm. Would work for an intro for many different genres.

Made in ableton live. Layered together out of various explosions sounds and a kick drum. One sound layer ran through a guitar amp for distortion. Low-fi-ish.

Sorta spooky and creepy, almost as if something is following you or hiding from you. Low gain but tones of echo and delay.

It's nearly impossible to find sound effects of someone handling an instrument and not playing it. . . At least it was until i uploaded this!. This was an acoustic guitar, but can be pitched up or down for similar smaller or bigger instruments. There's rubbing, knocking, and gliding fingers over the strings. No need to credit me. This jump scare sound was created by playing 2 dissonant chords on a single coil telecaster mic'd up w/ a vox ac 10 amp. The two guitar tracks are panned left and right- reverb and delay are added. Additionally, frequency enhancers were added between 4khz - 6khz which adds a higher tonal energy in the upper range of the guitar. Gain is added which can be heard as signal noise mostly at the end of the clip. Enjoy. Bainmack.

9-note ending riff. 1 of 8 samples under 5 seconds from my acoustic guitar recording of a civil war fife and drum song named frog in the well, which i learned from an 1862 instructional manual. The instrument was a 1928 gibson l3. There are no effects. Key is (in order of best fit) d major, f# minor, e minor, g major, a blues. Time signature is 3/4, but these samples are mainly under a bar so can be used in a 4/4 song. These are two guitar solo outtakes from a guest guitar session i was asked to be on. They essentially wanted that early era slayer vibe where there is more cacophonous noise than structure. I think i recorded 15-20 for two sections in one song. They chose two other files and this was the one i liked best to keep as a memento. I am the creator and owner of the audio contained within the file. I know guitarists these days want to sound like an andy sneap plugin, but this may give someone a different idea. Within the context of the song they were for they fit well. I'm not apologizing for the playing or quality of the recording. Just something i did for a friend that took me 4x as long to set up than total time under the red light. It was fun.
