A few minutes of a thunderstorm recorded from my window in atchison kansas at around 10:30 pm. You can faintly hear the neighbor kid's tv on the other side of the wall in the background. Recorded with lifecam hd3000 sitting on my bed about a meter from the 2 open windows facing east.

This is a 4 mic recording taken inside a pachinko parlor in akasaka, tokyo. There are so many loud machines and the background music is so loud that you can hardly make out individual sounds and the entire space is just a wash of noise. If you listen closely to this one you can hear some of the individual balls dropping. (when you play pachinko, you win metal balls which can be exchanged for cash later. ).

This high quality recording is of a cargo logistics train leaving the port of fremantle, pulling many, at least 50, sea containers on rail-cars through a railway crossing on a bend, curve of the line. You can hear the signal bell on the drop gate with flashing red lights and the steel rail-car wheels screeching on the curved track.

This was recorded with a trustin portable rechargeable 8gb dictaphone. The recorder was held about 7" away for the louder scrapes and drops and no more than 3" away with the softer scraping sounds. Some normalization was used to drop the peaks. The tiles were in the small hall of an apartment, facing an open door. The hall was approximately 3 feet wide and 8 feet long. This is free to use anywhere you may find useful, and i'd love to hear the results.

Sound from near my flat (great barr birmingham uk) at around 4am. There are various bird sounds within this file aswell as being able to hear the m6 motorway in the distance (i did try to accent this by pointing the mic in different directions). Recording in the cafeteria of pompeu fabra university (poblenou campus). A sound of a metal knife and fork is the main sound and in the background we can hear the typical sound of a cafeteria with a lot of people. It was in the lunch time and the sound have high frecuencies due to the metal contact and middle-low frecuencies due to people talking.

Recorded at the occupy toronto basecamp in st james's park, toronto, right next to the anglican cathedral of st james, 11 nov 2011. At the start of the recording, you can hear the cathedral bells chime. Most of the recording is of the ambient sounds of a walk-through of the park surrounded by the occupy protesters. A recording made on the bank of a small stream. The prominent bird that you will hear -- especially at 30 seconds into the recording -- is a beautiful little bird called the louisiana waterthrush. I made this recording by attaching my zoom h4n to a sturdy tripod, and using the built-in internal stereo microphones on the zoom. The built-in microphones have a 90-degree and 180-degree setting. For this recording, i set the angle on 180 degrees.

Sounds of trains passing above an art atelier in brussels, belgium; the room is right below the railway, so you can hear trains making different kinds of rumbles and noises from the other side of the ceiling. It was recorded with a tascam hd-p2 recorder and a sennheiser mkh50 directional microphone. I selected only the train-passing moments, there is a metal door shaking on the background and maybe some traffic, but i think it's cool enough. (:.

It's a recording i made while having troubles with my nose. Kind of disgusting recording, but might be a lot of fun to play with. You can hear me breating in through nose, breathing out, and finally sucking the problematic substances to my throat (i subsequently spit it out, but i coudn't record that - i had no place to spit it into). Recorded with zoom h2 via usb into ardour 2. Originally 48000/16-bit wav, coverted to flac with ardour.

I was messing around with some voice effects and somehow ended up with this growl. It sounds like a noise a dinosaur or dragon would make. Or like a clicker from "the last of us. "also, if you slow it down, it sounds like wood creaking. Let me know if it's useful for you, hope it makes for some good sound design with whatever you're doing. Foley audio of passing cars on a country lane. Cars passed behind the direction the camera was facing. There's a mild stabilisation noise you may hear which could detriment your audio if not removed. Other than this, the sound is eloquent enough. Oin camera mic has been used from a canon 7d with no wind filter. Recorded in burnley, lancashire.

The quiet winter gentle breeze carries itself over the roofs between the trees and homes where the lush forest once was. The car that drives by is a piece of sh*t you can totally tell hahaha. A room tone attic in ostend, belgium. Construction and scaffold building across the street. Occasional car passing. The windows were closed but it’s only single layered glass. At 3:06 you can hear my feet moving (sorry about that). Recorded with tascam dr 701d en rode ntg 3 (shotgun type mic). The shotgun was positioned on top of the tascam in between the two internal mics. No processing whatsoever. Enjoy, use this in any way you seem fit, no credit needed.

This clip was recorded in august 2021 during the evening in a platform near the beach in le grazie, la spezia, italy. You can hear the sounds of the waves clashing with the platform, the people walking around, cicadas in the distance and also the sound of the boats navigating into the port. It was recorded with a zoom h1n (96khz /24bit). The sound was no post-processed.

So this is actually a heavily edited sound of me making a weird mouth noise. It sounds like it oddly fits a video game jump, or just something game-ish perhaps. I needed the sound of a plastic recycle bin being rolled out to the curb. I set my zoom h1n on the sidewalk at the end of my driveway and - in two trips - rolled the cans out to the curb. You will hear me walking to the cans in the right channel, the garbage bin is rolled from the right channel to the center-left. Then repeat for the recycle bin.

This is a large shed housing a hundred goats owned by a local cheese producer. It's an autochthonous goat breed called 'cabra palmera' (goat from la palma island). Listen to their bells. Late winter snow storm last night in the detroit area 3-3-23 around 9pm est. Was attempting to record thundersnow but by the time i found my batteries the thunder and lightning stopped. Threw my zoom h1n under a plastic cloths basket just incase the thunder started back up, but no luck. This is a short clip of the original hour long recording. You'll hear, sleet, snow & wind.

Hammer hitting a nail: in this sound you hear a metal hammer hitting a metal nail into a slab of wood, creating a harsh sounding sound. Recorded using the zoomh4n and using the rode ntg1 condenser shotgun microphone. A high shelf and a band was added to the sound to make the hammer hitting the nail more clear. The hammer used was 2kg hammer and the nail was 5 cm long nail and the wood was a piece of eucalyptus tree wood.

We are back in germany and its raining again! i opened the window an little bit and recorded with my roland binaural mics the rain and raindrops that are falling from the window! you can clearly hear the drops but sometimes you have a little wind noise. Sound of a million-dollar horse. A close-up shot of a dominican paso fino doing its tell-tale step, natural to the breed. The rhythm is near-perfect, we can clearly hear hoofs on dirt as well as the animals heavy breathing. Various segments are perfectly loopable. Recorded on an h-1 zoom on a pole astride the animal. As a side-note, the horse itself is from a price-winning blood-line and worth in the excess of $1. 5 million us. I know, right?.

Here's my second flute reel for the make noise morhpagene. This is how far i've came over the past few months in my playing and despite a few slip ups here and there i'm quite pleased with how i'm able to make it sound now. From 11 they gradually begin to increase gradually until midnight when they get really strong, then gradually decrease gradually until ten to one, when you hear all silence. This recording was done with my iphone 11 connected to the shure mv88 plus digital stereo microphone.
