Sampled from custom-made 13. 5 inch hihat cymbals created by master cymbal smith mike skiba. The top cymbal weighs in at 1145 grams with the bottom weighing 1215 grams. This is a stick tap on the bow of the closed cymbals using the tip of the stick.

Arranged and rendered to 32-bit float wav @ 192khz using lmms (linux multimedia studio) - electronic music production program. Divided into separate files and converted to 24-bit flac using audacity. 12 closed hihat hits recorded in a reverberant bathroom. The hihat was recorded with a three microphone setup with a close mic mono and a wide-stereo overhead version of each sample. See my other packs for matching drum samples. More are on the way if anyone finds these usable.

Created in waveform-10 using 1 instance of zynaddsubfx with 3 layers of hi pass filtered oscillators which were tweaked in detail to sound more like noise. Theres a little reverb, delay and distortion in there. The other oscillator was white noise created in 4osc ( native waveform-10 plugin ).

This series is done through layering and processing many samples of drum sounds i synthesised using various plugins namely xoxo's vst's and zynaddsubfx mixed with some old hardware samples i made a long time ago. There are 4 packs of the same series : perc snare kick and hats all using the same process.
I recorded these samples after recording a loop of the famous think beat. I used mapex big rock kick and toms and a mapex daisycutter snare along with zultan 15" raw hihat and a zultan 20" dark matter crash.
