191 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Hihat"

It was created and exported with the native instruments maschine and its samples.

Samples of the vintage korg mini pops 45 drum machine. No processing applied here but a very gentle fft based noise reduction. After all, i figured background noise was part of the machine's sonic identity. No patterns here, since that would have taken forever, just the individual sounds. Some of them alone, some of them combined. Recorded mono with a zoom h2n thru the machine's "amp" output.

I recorded these samples after recording a loop of the famous think beat. I used mapex big rock kick and toms and a mapex daisycutter snare along with zultan 15" raw hihat and a zultan 20" dark matter crash.

This is a drum sound i've synthesized using the great free (gpl) synthesizer zynaddsubfx. Arranged and rendered to 32-bit float wav @ 192khz using lmms (linux multimedia studio) - electronic music production program. Divided into separate files and converted to 24-bit flac using audacity. Rougher hi-hats and some master-processing was done to the loop.

The sound that despite being marketed as a the sound of a motor, a motor probably shouldn't make. It used to be a hihat sample until i mutilated it.

Sampled from an old transistor organs rhythm unit. Recorded with a rme babyface. Cut and processed using audacity, reaper and ocenaudio. It's always nice to hear what projects you use these sounds for. Let me know. ;-).

Warped tape loop with the recording of a crappy hi-hat sound from a cheap keyboard, the tape loop plays twice.

This hi hat loop i created for a song i'm making. A few hi hats were used, doing different rhythm and panning patterns.

Finally, another normal loop. Nothing much again, but the difference is significant.

The bass melody was produced by applying a modulation to the frequency of the bass. Not much has changed from 003.

The classic 4 by 4 pattern heard on any techno-trance track was applied to the original under-laying tracks.

Reason 3. 0 was used: hi-hats were added to the original drums. Very techno like feature.

A ride cymbal and claps were added to 006. Aif. The most pusling loop and the most uplifting part.

This is a variation of the loop: 005 from the mitosis pack. The odd bass sound (or melody) is the result of tweaking too much with the modulation.

A transitional state. Extremely fast drums were finally added. A very uplifting, rough, and powerful bassdrum pattern.

Back to normal. Nothing really special here excepting the unusual tom sound that seems out of pitch.
