A bird was singing close to a chimney early in the morning. I had my recording gear ready to go. It took quit a bit of processing (= noise-removal & filtering) to get rid of rubbish. I added a slight reverb to it. The recording is made in zoetermeer, a city close to the hague.

Kind of a weezer type jam i came up with while messing around with a capo on the 2nd fret. I want to say its in 4/4 but its pretty loose, if you do anything with it i'd really like to hear!.

I was actually trying to make a different (but similar) sound for another purpose, and when i heard these, it reminded me of old kung fu movies where someone would throw a punch and just hit the air.

I needed the sound of someone trapped in a mine and desperately trying to dig his way out. I used a metal tray with gravel, on top of a doormat, all on top of a plastic garden chest, then scraped at gravel with 2 large stones.

This was a recording of me just walking up to my door. I hit my parent's car with my cane, and you can hear sounds of me pulling out my key as i approach the door. Planes are also descending overhead.

I created this big truck sound by tunning a virtual electric guitar program. I feel it sound more good for horror genre. Its all free enjoy.

I recorded these because i neeeded a sound when a player slices a metal object. But it can be used for cooking sounds etc. As well obviously. The later ones are useful for creating loops and the impact usually sounds quite different which offers some needed variation. You can try to add some crackling fire sound if you need it to sound more powerful. There is no need to credit me but i would be happy if you tell me here if you use it and what for :).

Two sennheiser g3 transmitters were set for the same frequency; one of them was transmitting a previous interference recording from my macbook p2 phone output, the other one had no input;the receptor was connected to loudspeakers; the interference would vary as i moved each transmitter around. I recorded the loudpeakers output through the macbook built-in microphone, on audacity. This is a specially noisy part i exported. Not a pretty sound, but may be useful.

I recorded this for an animated sequence i was doing that involved a bucket truck. I recorded a truck parked in a garage starting its motor, pulling out of the building, driving back into the building, stopping, hitting the air brakes and idling, backing up with backing beeps, idling again, and then honking its horn while pulling back out of the building. The truck circles the building again, pulls back in, hits the air brakes one more time and then cuts the motor.

I mounted the mic inside and on top of the car and drove trough the city, recording some ambulance, traffic, and a scooter that was tooting, later i turned of engine, opened and closed the car door and startet the engine, maybe you find it useful, let me know :). I used the equipment described in my profile.

I took the groovy part from zagi2's sound fata morgana (mirage) 3. Wavhttps://www. Freesound. Org/people/zagi2/sounds/369208/it's 2 bars. Cut it up in 8 parts. Call them 1 to 8. I let excel randomize function give me 16 numbers between 1 and 8. Then i merge my parts in that order. Result an 8 bar loop. Done in audacity. Did not have to use number 1.

I took the sound "arpasauro atmo" from thalamus_lab and stretched it + fading in and out, because i needed a longer version. I just love the atmosphere it creates! the gong at the beginning transmuted into some kind of a mystical choir and at the end the short squeaking turned into some kind of a slow door groan. . This recording was taken in the edinburgh cbd during the fringe festival in august 2022 in the early evening, around 7pm. I like it because it gives an idea of the unusual way that sounds travel in that city. I could never figure out the reason for it, but it was noticeable to me the whole time i was there. If anyone knows the reason please post it in the comments. The recording was made with the inbuilt stereo microphones of a zoom h5 portable recorder.

All this time i´ve been doing a ton of drum samples from almost every edm subgenre, so, i took a transient from a house club kick and a sub bass i made by miself, compressed the hell out of them, distorted the sub bass and added the special sauce, the izotope ozone 8 to make a cool jungle terror kick. After spending a weekend putting together a giant wardrobe (from everyones favourite swedish furniture store) for my girlfriend i thought i should reward myself by making some recordings of it. This is a close mic recording of one of the internal draws. For this recording i used my sennheiser mkh416 going into a sound devices mp-1 preamp and recorded to a tascam dr-680.

I made a waveshaper in the js audio language that applies random math operations to the signal. The original signal is liteon's (of reaper forums) lorenz attractor synth, which is then run through the waveshaper, then that signal controls the pitch of a soundwave. Later on i waveshape the resulting soundwave but i don't think it has the best results (dc offset city). A lot of the cooler sounds/series of pitches are made by changing the number of operations on the fly, or shuffling a new set of operations for the waveshaper to use.

It's fun to patch up a kind of analog shift register (3 stages). Doepfer a-160 controls the stages. On a-160 i use /2, /4 and /8. I sample slewed noise. No quantizer.

An old recording of a metal utility rack being raked by another metal piece. I think this was captured with a cheap olympus digital recorder, thus the big noise floor. I was getting some neat percussive sounds modulating in the soundhack morphagene. Feel free to use as you like!.

An sort of old sound i've made before then. I believe i generated brown noise in goldwave, then played around with the effects. It's a nice sound design for electric caves.

To create this sound i stabbed an apple with a pair of scissors in my bedroom to replicate the sound of someone being stabbed. To record i used my sontronics stc-10 microphone and my audiobox interface running pro tools from my mac at 48khz, 16 bit.

Recorded with audacity, this ghost is terrifying me, i can hear him through the walls :(. Microphone: logitech g35. Just using a couple filters via audacity. Stretching and morphing sound. I started with saying pretend words backwards in realtime.

I made this weird creepy atmo using stock fl plugin called beepmap. Its from my sample pack called musicom's samplebox vol. 1 but i deleted my soundcloud so it got taken down.

Using beepbox. Co, i accidentally made a sound similar to my fm radio being unable to pick up a station. I keep my radio in my basement, so sometimes it can't pick up some frequencies right away, producing this noise.

I placed a beta source (co 60) towards a series 900 mini-monitor (gm tube), starting from about 50cm away. Saturation is reached 5cm away. I used a zealsound microphone and recorded directly into my laptop using audacity. The sound is as recorded.

I set my mics up just in time to catch this loud thunder crash during a recording session. I aimed a stereo-matched pair of akg 451s out the window in an x-y configuration and ran them into a universal audio 2-610 preamp. There are no effects at all.
