I recorded my voice while playing freelance horror games; scp-087-b and slender sanatorium. This was so i could get genuine reactions to use as stock voice clips for future use. Some pretty interesting stuff came out. Turning a corner to see in slender man is in the hall.

I recorded this using my sony cyber-shot camera. All i did was just play around in the sink and got some sounds from pulling the plug a few times to get some gurgling sounds and such. Hope this is useful!.

An all-american expression of incredulity. It can be used to express genuine surprise, or better yet, with a touch of sarcasm. "we need to put a hold on this check till it clears. " well, no shit. I note that it is easily edited to produce a very convincing "oh shit" which i have put into practical use on occasion.

This is a simple dry (no effects) 4 track recording with just drums bass and 2 guitars. The reason i use 2 guitar tracks is to fatten the sound. It could have been done with just 3 tracks but this is the sound i shoot for in my rhythm tracks.

This is a slow version of the s. G. I. Buddhist mantra nam myo ho renge kyo. It was recorded by me with my voice and a bit of echo and reverb using the audacity program. The recording device used was my computer windows xp with a very low-end microphone. I downloaded a free audacity recording program.

This is the sound of a plasma cutting system. Recorded while cutting a big piece of metal scrap from 100 years ago. It was a machine used for textile works. And now, we are selling these scrap which makes me kind of sad. . . I wish i could put some pictures!.

This is not a perfect loop!it was sampled by me inserting a jack over and over into a casio sk-5. I did the beats by ear, while listening to a metronome set to 100 bpm. It is extremely close though. You don't have to site me if you use this sample in your work, i don't care.

Ok, obviously i'm not a percussionist. These are just a few takes i made with a borrowed plastic guiro. After a few single samples i included a clumsily played "quintillo" rhythm. Gear:. Neumann tlm-102arturia audiofuse interface. Format:. 48khz 24bitmono.

Inspired by a strange japanese number station i heard around 2012. I generated white noise, recorded an old toy, and found some public domain static and put it all together in this extremely eerie piece. It gets even creepier if you lower the pitch.

Stretched sound, good for video games. I made the original sample in fruity loops using the reverse effect on a basic software sample sound. After that i used paul stretcher effect in audacity to stretch everything up and give it a longer feel. Also added little bit of dellay and reverb after stretching it.

Same patch as in electronic minute no 226 but on my real modular. I'm using a wave folder. Thats why i call this version additive. I'm adding timbre to a sinus wave. I will do an subtractive version next.

My original dw toms, mixed with themselves 1 octave up [the octave up is lowered -6db and the envelope reshaped to allow loud only the attack]. Then for that resulting mixdow again the same thing [so i used the same method two times]. At all steps i was using the simple compressor[not multiband] for not allowing overlimiting. For the two general mixdowns [because it was a double process] i used hard compressor at -0. 45 dbs. And for the two octavic parallel channels i used hard compressor -3. 60 dbsbecause the octave doesn't sound realistic if not well compressed. For all my dw octavic tomsed i used the same exact method. My original dw toms are here if you want to read data or mics. These toms do not sound realistic as stand alone sounds. These harmonics work better only in a complete mixdown, and have increased audibility than the original recordings [for silent music parts use the original because low velocity of parallel instruments will expose the supportive tom-harmonics].

This is heavily inspired by the urban myth and/or creepypasta called the backrooms, which have a very distinct atmosphere to them. This is my interpretation. However, this isn't exclusively for backrooms-related stuff! so by all means, if you're simply in need of some interior ambience of any sort, that's also why i made this for you. No advanced processing was used to achieve this sound. I recorded an electrical box in my garage for the buzzing. For the 2nd layer, i turned on some fans in my room, and made a long mono recording of the white-noise. I then split the recording in half, and used each half for the left and right channel, giving it a stereo sound. I then spent an hour leveling all of it because i'm a perfectionist. Yay. Hardware & software used:-audacity-zoom h4n pro (buzzing)-rode nt1 (fan-noise).

They are referred to as different things but overall a creepy, evil, raspy, breathy type screeching sound. I created this with a type of practiced scream on a blue yeti usb condenser microphone. I recorded in audacity and added some reverb, fade in, and fade out. It was originally for a video game voice over audition. I also have the original with no fx if needed. My example/inspiration were the creatures in lord of the rings, fellowship of the ring. They are also called the fell riders and the black wings (when they ride the fell beasts), as well as the shadows, the servants of sauron, and the nine servants of the lord of the rings.
