A recording i made in may of 2013 as i was trying to get a good recording of the wonderful wood thrush recorded. You can still faintly hear the wood thrush in the background, but the nice surprise on this recording is the very clear, bubbling, trilling call of a proud little chipping sparrow. This recording was carefully made using my homemade parabolic reflector microphone. (*using my trusty rode ntg-2), and going into my handy zoom h4n recorder. I wanted to get as accurate a recording as possible so i bumped up the bit rate to 96 kpbs. I know it makes for a larger file, but i think it is worth it.

All my sounds were created for a motioncomic i created called: kay & gojiah. . . I did not create these from scratch, but instead, remixed stock sounds of different roars, growls, breathing, etc. And fiddled with their settings until i got a sound i felt satisfied with. I thought the best thing to do with them after the project was done is to share. So, no need to give me credit. I was playing with my mixed-breed dog, mia, the other day, and so recorded her doing things. Running around, barking, panting, etc. Sorry for the handleing noise and other unwanted noises you might find throughout the recording; i didn't even plan to record but then i thought why not, so i was unprepared. I was playing around trying to create a different sound when i accidentally created this sound which reminded me of a rocket flying by. I thought it might be useful and uploaded it. I kept it a bit longer so you can edit it into a loop or fade it out to make it seem the rocket flies away =). Made with fl studio with the free firebird vst plugin.

I took this sample from a phone message. I did use a live feed,(from the headset output on my phone, through a cable into my digital recorder. ) but it is very soft. When i tried recording with out the live feed, i couldn't even find the noise again. It could definitely use to be amped up a bit.

Well. . . I have done some trance stuff to use in songs. . . If there's any need for them. . . I hope you people like them, i'm making more all the time. I saw there's no-one that good as flick3r on trance/techno loops here, so i decided to make my place here as a nice electronic sampler/looper. Cheers.

I had this piano in the seventies. It was manufactured at italy and had this cheesy sound. The sound is very analog and is created with squarewaves. In the last year i bought it at ebay and repaired it. The sound had a lot of noise,so i resampled it and put it into my roland fantom,to get a better sound. This is the result. Have fun.

Garden shovel clanging as it is struck. I needed the sound of someone getting hit over the head with a shovel for a theatrical production [ fuddy meers ]. I recorded my garden shovel as i struck it with my shoe; quite effective.

This is a digital swoosh sound that i made for a track because i couldn't find one so i made it my self using a synth and an fx vst, it sounds like a cross between a sea wave and a jet pass.

I generated a sort of a bassdrum with https://donald82. Kapsi. Fi/services/wave_generator. Cgi i used this formula: cos(200000/(x+1117)). Not going to use that anywhere but i figured someone else might want to. Or maybe someone else want to generate their own bassdrum :).

I recorded using a zoom h6 with a xy mic and foam screen and handheld. I placed the mic above the keyboards and typed. I started typing at a slow pace and then fast. The first sounds are on a wireless key board and the second were on a laptop keyboard. Recorded for a school project for a sfx library.

Wasn't going to upload this, but it was pointed out to me that it sounds like the intro to a song in a minor key. Not sure i see that, but the suggestion is that some composer will seize on it as an opening to an instrumental that fits it. I want to see if that will happen. If that's not practical, i feel sure someone will find a use for it.

I clicked it so hard, that if i clicked it half as hard twice at the same time, it would be the same volume!!! there's quite a bit of background noise on this one because i am the king of maximum gain. Bzzhzhhshshhzhzhhhzzzz.

I like rolling my tobacco, so i thought "why not use my roller to make a sound effect?". I gently opened the lid infront of the mic. This was recorded at the open window institute sound booth in centurion, south africa.

Recorded with my iphone in an empty classroom that was surprisingly breezy given. . . . Y'know. . . Indoors. I couldn't even begin to describe exactly what i did to that recording, but i do remember manipulating it through audition using lots of weird dynamic processors, eq's, and convolution reverbs.

I forked unfa's freesound #243170 then i modified it in wavepad. To make the effect, i cut out the one part then fade out. Sounds like that one sound when the power has been cut in fhfif remix.

The caws were recorded with a usb-stick mic, but i forget the particulars of exactly when and where i was. There are many variations to the call of crows, both singularly and in unison. I captured just a few of the individual variety.

I recorded this animal noise in my ceiling. I have no idea what it could be so thought i would put it out there. . !! sounds like there is more than one and sounding young. Possibilities are possum, bats, birds or rats. Any ideas?.

Beeping sounds i made with the operator in ableton, i think? was supposed to emulate the sound of some kind of machine in the distance.

This is a sound i made in audacity. I just used a sawtooth tone and just changed the pitches at the beginning and end. Added some reverb and bass.

Works in tandem with the claw grabber machine sound effect i had, just a little machine noise i made with vocal and editing in aduacity.

This is not actually a frog. I recorded a speech for my game and my stomack made this sound. I filtered it and voila: frog!.
