Recorded ambient sounds while various people were shooting off fireworks in my neighborhood and surrounding areas.

In this clip you hear our air conditioner, distant cars on the highway, a bug flying by, and one of my neighbors shooting a bottle rocket. Typical summer. Check out our other media services at: echocinematics. Com.

(recorder: zoomh4npro 2018)(microphones: zoomh4npro 2018 on-board microphones). This is a recording of illegal fireworks being launched all over los angeles on the 4th of july, 2020. All surface to air fireworks are illegal but, due to covid-19 cabin fever, people just didn't care this year. This recording is almost 99% voice free. There was a couple on a balcony that are barely heard muttering something in just a minute or two of this recording. For the most part, it's clean. I kept the peaks very low to maintain a natural sound. All of my sounds recordings are provided free of all charges. July 4th fireworks going off all across town, echoing off the buildings. Sounded like the world was ending, figured i'd get a sound bite.

Fireworks recorded amidst the buildings of an apartment complex. Lowpassed around 1khz. Slightly expanded dynamic range. I cut as many incidental noises as i could hear on my headphones (cars, neighbors, etc) but there's still some residual hum from an electrical box that was nearby as well as wind. Recorder: zoom h1date: 7/4/2017time: 10:00pmlocation: fremont, ca (usa).

Sounds like the uplift to the drop of an edm track, but can also be used as a firework sound effect, or for a bomb dropping. Created using a low-passed square wave, over-compressing it, distorting it, playing 2 notes a semitone apart and pitch shifting.
