I needed the sound of some keys that were put on a table. So i did the recording myself with a simple headset-mic. It's a very simple recording, hope you can work with it. The putting down was done in 3 different manners from quick to slow and picking them up again.
Samples of all keys and drones separately from a harmonium. Recorded in the euterpea studio at yale university's department of computer science. Some equalization applied after recording. .
Thin computer keyboard typing, including the 10-key number pad and the volume buttons. Recorded on a tascam-dr-40 and cleaned up in audacity. (i left the bass in the recording; you will likely want to use bass-roll-off to remove). Production-now. Com - shout-outs welcome.
This recording is made with a zoom h1 recorder. This sound is made while putting several items such as woollen cloth, keys and a head rubber inside a grand piano.
I had various mics placed and recorded the full process of putting the keys in the ignition, cranking and putting into gear and then idle. This was in a nissan frontier.
